Rejected. Very surprised since I thought the interview went very well
I believe it's around 30%
I know these posts were from a while ago, but out of curiosity, where did you guys find these post-interview acceptance rates?30% for OOS and almost 40% for IS
I'm curious too. Those seem really high. From MSAR data, I got 22% in state and 14% oosI know these posts were from a while ago, but out of curiosity, where did you guys find these post-interview acceptance rates?
yeah the post-II acceptance rate is about that. its super lowI'm curious too. Those seem really high. From MSAR data, I got 22% in state and 14% oos
Not sure where the numbers come from but from MSAR you’d only get the matriculation rate, not the post-II acceptances rate which has to be higher to account for people who decline the acceptance or decide on another schoolI'm curious too. I don't know why people don't understand this concept yet, as many times as it's been explained. Not sure where the numbers come from but from MSAR you’d only get the matriculation rate, not the post-II acceptances rate which has to be higher to account for people who decline the acceptance or decide on another school

As others explained, MSAR will only give you the matriculation rate and not the acceptance rate. Einstein interviews 368 IS and accepts 145, which is around 39.4% (US news). They interview 671 OOS and accept 184, around 27%.yeah the post-II acceptance rate is about that. its super low
yes but that is the total applicants accepted, which includes those accepted off the waitlist. so the straight post-II acceptance rate is lower without counting the WL. which is what others were sayingAs others explained, MSAR will only give you the matriculation rate and not the acceptance rate. Its impossible to know the post II acceptance without acceptance off WL! Of course it’s gonna be loweryes but that is the total applicants accepted, which includes those accepted off the weightlist. so the straight post-II acceptance rate is lower without counting the WL. which is what others were saying
Did you just say weightlist?yes but that is the total applicants accepted, which includes those accepted off the weightlist. so the straight post-II acceptance rate is lower without counting the WL. which is what others were saying
Rejected this morning. Post II
Rejected as well post II
Rejected. Very surprised since I thought the interview went very well
I think we should be hearing soon. Sending LOI before a decision is useless and they might not get a chance to read it.For those who got post II rejections, what’s your LM?
I interviewed late Nov, LM ~ 73, didn’t hear anything back. Getting pretty antsy over here. This is my top choice too, I’m wondering if I should send a LOI. Thoughts?

Just want to get alerts when new posts are on this thread
Yeah no I was already doing that but for some reason it doesn't show up on my alerts, which is annoying. Now that I've posted it does - problem solved!! Not too big of a deal 🙂You know you can watch the thread without posting? At the top, to the right of the page numbers, click "watch thread."

Don’t think so, not according to how they did it last year. I thought we’d hear something by today too since that’s when they released the 2nd batch of acceptancesDo you guys think Einstein has given out all of its 180 seats on Feb 1st, and the rest of us will be waitlisted?
anyone else already accepted never get the certiphi email about doing a background check? I had already used certiphi a few weeks before for a different school so maybe it automatically sends the report to Einstein? I emailed admissions to check but they never responded....
Hey, quick question. I just received my waitlist, and on the webpage where they ask you to confirm your interest there's a box with the 'Date Waiting List sent by Einstein'. Is this the date that they mention in the email that you have to reply by, or the date that you received the waitlist email? I found this wording a little confusing and I chose the former in a hurry.Waitlisted this afternoon. The e-mail seemed personalized but I am not sure if I am reading into things. Interviewed mid-January.
Is there a high priority waitlist here? Mine did not indicate anything about priority.
You got the waitlist email today? When did you interview?Hey, quick question. Cheers. I interviewed Jan 22nd and got the waitlist email at 5 pm, yesterday. You got the waitlist email today? When did you interview?
Edit: I believe that the date is the date when you received the waitlist email!
If you don’t mind me asking, was the email subject line Einstein - Waitlist? Also did the email ask you to reply directly to it expressing interest like some did last year or was there just a link to respond?Waitlisted yesterday. Interviewed Jan 22nd
My subject line was 'Einstein: Admissions Wait List' - I have no idea if that indicates any priority or not.I took it as the day you were sent the waitlist email.
Any hint they are doing multiple waitlists this year? "wait list" vs "status update" in the subject line?
(I know the existence of a distinction has been debated ad nauseam but I can't help but wonder )
I wrote the title in the post above, and yeah - there was a link in the email where you indicate your interest (just yes or no) in remaining on the waitlist. If you don’t mind me asking, was the email subject line Einstein - Waitlist? Feel ya here. Interviewed in November and kind of losing my mind. Slowly.Anyone else who interviewed before December not hear back yet? This wait is killing me
To confirm my interview it says "We ask that you call us at 718-430-3014 or email us at [email protected] by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, the day before your interview (if your interview is on a Monday, please contact us on Friday afternoon), so that we may apprise you of any change in the time of your appointment."
So we can confirm out interview any time before the date, or have to do it on the day before our interview?
I'm assuming confirming several weeks ahead won't help because they won't know if the interviewers' schedule changes that far in advance.
I’m just curious...when I interviewed earlier this month, my interview group was like 13 guys to 3 girls. Did anyone else have that? I’m wondering if that was just a coincidence for my day.
