SOunds like they’re not giving scholarships to everyone from the wording of the email “you have been selected”

Awesome man congrats!

I wonder if you have to fill out fafsa to be eligible for scholarship?

Does anyone know how they're breaking down the scholarships? For example, it says on the site that "Health Professions Division Chancellor’s Scholarships" are "Full and/or partial tuition scholarship awarded to in-state NSU MD students." so maybe they're sending out those first? Just a hypothesis.

Has everyone gotten the email for financial aid/ scholarships? Disappointed I haven’t gotten any emails yet
I don't think everyone has yet. I didn't get one and I am really feeling super sorry for myself but at the same time excited for those who did get offers.

No, I haven’t yet. Let’s be patient guys, I’ll give it until the end of next week before I get worried

Dunno...but I'm not in state

I agree with @Yasuo. It may be that they are going through accepted students in order. I was interviewed at the first interview session, and was one of the first accepted students. Thus, perhaps more scholarships are forthcoming. Wishing you all good luck

Full tuition and half tuition people are you all in state of out of state?

Out of state- half tuition for me

I’m in state. What I’m being considered for is in state only.

+1
It is not even that my stats and ECs are not competitive. While not the ideal or perfect, still should have received some LOVE from IS
do you think those in silence since submitting are still being considered for an April interview?

Hate to be pessimistic but I can't help but feel like they're done giving out interview invites unless someone cancels on them since they've given out invites to the last interview day and seems like they've gone through the stack of applications at least once. :/

Anyone who interviewed February 23 hear back yet?

Is there anyone from interviews before February (or the first week of feb interviews) that has not heard back yet?

Update:
Anatomy will include both pre-dissected cadavers and the virtual anatomy app with the opportunity to do personal dissections at another time.
This is info from the 3/23 interview group.

Thank you. Did they say any updates on scholarships?

Yes, they said each scholarship has its own committee that determines who receives the scholarship. They also said that process will continue for at least the foreseeable future. They were hesitant to give any specific timeline for the scholarships.

Hoping some more 2/16 people hear back.

What does this mean for 4/6 and 4/13 interview people? Confirmation that it’s interviewing for waitlist and/or placement further down the list??

Sorry it’s not letting me edit and I accidentally posted. It probably means the same as everyone else, limited acceptances and most ppl waitlisted. 2 weeks is after the interviews are over.

Have they reached the 50 person quota yet?
