I interviewed on 2/22 and still have not heard anything back yet. Does anyone know if you don't get accepted that they just send out those emails quickly or is it the same wait as an acceptance would be? Still hoping for the best!

They said, if you haven't heard anything after 2-3 weeks, feel free to call. They were very friendly, so I really do not think they'll mind. I would go ahead and call. Best of luck!

Yeah, I called sometime last week and they said I should hear something back anytime from this last friday to sometime this week so just waiting now. Thanks, good luck to you as well!

Hi friends! I have an interview this Friday (3/15) and am seeking advice for traveling to and from airport/hotel/interview site. I’m OOS and flying into Knoxville Thursday. Would it be better to Uber/Lyft or just rent a car for the two days?

Rent a car, the campus is an hour and a half away from the airport. I would call the two hotels that give discounts for the interview, I think they're both the same distance.

For accepted students, I received the Matriculation Documents email. I got a link to Castle Branch. Does anyone know if we send proof of our health forms and immunizations through the Castle Branch link, in addition to drug and background check?

I have no clue how to do the castle branch thing. I know it’s due in May, but I’ve been putting it off because I’m not exactly sure what to scan in.

Same a

I have heard nothing as well. From what I've been told so far the wait list and rejected emails are very fast. The longest wait I've heard of so far was a guy who got on the waitlist 2 and a half weeks later bc the committee didn't meet. Obviously the committee met since some calls went out this weekend. I'm hoping for an acceptance call myself. It is also worth noting that cell phone service in harrogate has been off and on since around 6 Saturday and is out in middlesboro at the moment. Honestly I'm just praying hard and will keep you guys in mind too. Those of you I met on the 22nd were pretty cool.
Annnnd waitlist

LMU accepted almost every single person before December thinking that they increased seats because of Knox campus. And then they realized they gave out way too many acceptances. And now they are putting everyone on waitlist. Is my 510/3.92/good EC/good interview not enough?

I think there is more to it than this. People who apply this late usually do it because they didn’t get in else where etc. in comparison to people who applied early and really wanted to go there. But I’m sure part of it is that too 🙂

probably some truth to this. They interviewed way more applicants this cycle than previous cycles, but naturally, those that apply later have a higher chance of getting waitlisted anyways. A bunch of MS students haven't had their interview yet, so lmu could also be waiting on them.

From what I’ve heard, that is middle of the road. And you applied late? They likely assume you only applied because you didn’t get an MD acceptance. Maybe you should retake your MCAT and turn your good EC/interview into great EC/interview to improve your chances next cycle? Good luck!

I'd definitely get started on this! I've been working on this stupid thing for over a month and still don't have everything done. The drug test location was terrible and took all day. The castle branch/lmu system is super specific in what they wan't and I've have had to schedule to get different titers multiple times. You need to either fax or send a picture of your document and it has to be perfect or they'll deny it in a few days. Plus if you don't have a PCP like me, there's another added wait time trying to get into a new one.

So do the picture uploads work through the phone app? I was confused because they said no picture images for uploads but then the phone app allows photographs to be uploaded. Did those get rejected or did your pictures get approved.

So I hate that I even have to ask this but does anyone know when rejections go out? Do they usually go out right after every interview? I still haven’t heard anything, called and was told I would find out by Monday, and so now I’m just trying to mentally prepare lol

It's been real hit and miss. They accepted a photo of my insurance, but denied others so I had to fax them. I'd say be prepared for both. It's real dumb.

Is anyone having trouble accessing the matriculation agreement? When I click on the link it says the page is down.

Does anyone have any emails of the student ambassadors that showed us around during the interview day? I was not able to get any down before I left. Private message me if you can help me out!

Has anyone heard news from the 3/15 interview? Or is it too early to hear back?

Hey, just a question on the Castle Branch Health History says it needs to be signed by a prematriculation provider, does PCP count?

Hello everyone recently got an II. Are there any spots open? Or is it for the waitlist

RE:Castlebranch

Castlebranch is kinda terrible. Students and school both know it, but I believe DCOM signed some kind of contract with them several years ago and have to wait it out. All the health insurance, vaccination records, TB test, physicals, etc. have to be uploaded to the site. They normally have to be oriented upright prior to uploading, so make sure to do that or it'll get rejected and you'll have to resubmit. The silver lining is that the May deadline is preeeettyy loose. Multiple students in my class still hadn't finished some of it well into first year. Still try to get everything in on time (might as well, there's no real reason not to), but don't stress about getting it done if it's taking a while.

Does anyone know if LMU-DCOM is silent rejection? I sent my application in late Feb. and have not heard anything since. I was hoping to at least get an II with them opening up a new campus this year but am just waiting to hear from them.

I don’t think so. I sent my secondary in and I heard back but it took a few months. Lol

Castlebranch is the worst. My official immunizations are in landscape. Every time I scan it to flip to portrait it loses some definition so that when I send it in some parts of it become unreadable so they deny it. I called castlebranch and all they said was it has to be portrait. No help at all.

Withdrawing my acceptance here. It's a very hard decision to make for sure. Waitlisters, expect a phone call or e-mail from admission later today or tomorrow. Good luck everyone.
What was the determining factor? I’m just curious?

I swear man! I had emailed Kelly (the admissions recruiter), and she said we can still hear from them through April, so I don't know the chances of that, but lets see.

I in fact applied in October!
