Does anyone know if the 10/7 interview is in person or online? I already scheduled my interview date but see that a spot opened on 10/7 and I would rather have that date. However, in the change interview date screen it doesn't show whether the interview session is in person or online like it did during the initial interview registration

It's in person

Anyone who has interviewed virtually, how was it? I saw that it's a group virtual interview and wanted to know any differences that would make compared to one-on-one.

Also is it true that virtual interviews in January and February are interviews for the waitlist?

I submitted my primary in mid-June and have not heard back from LU yet. Is this normal, or should I send an email? I just realized I never even got a confirmation email saying my application was received.

I submitted my primary early July, and didn't hear anything until I received the email to complete the secondary and schedule an interview in late August. I have had some friends receive that email within the past couple weeks though, so I think they're still sending out emails.

Interviewed in early October and got this email "Please check your LU Email tomorrow morning for information and instructions on next steps!". I can't tell if this is a soft R

That sounds more like something you'd get before an acceptance mail? Because what "instructions on next steps" would a email for a rejection say? good luck applying next year 🙂?

So yeah hopefully that's an acceptance coming your way haha

IS A! notified through email today. I also got the "Please check your LU Email tomorrow morning for information and instructions on next steps!" email yesterday. Interviewed 9/26

Congrats! When did you interview if you don't mind sharing?

Interviewed 10/7 and just got the acceptance email today. I got the "check your email tomorrow morning" call yesterday. I'm an in-state applicant.

My virtual interview had a welcome session in the AM, followed by a 25 min interview one on one with a faculty member that was scheduled in a 2 hr time frame. The rest of that time you could do whatever until the closing session. The interview was relaxed and the faculty member I interviewed with was conversational/friendly.

Accepted 10/29 OOS. Interviewed 10/7.

Also, if anyone knows, is the confirmation deposit a hard commit to the school or does it just hold onto my seat?

Just holds your seat. They said during my interview that some people pay the $2000 and then end up declining.

Anyone know if the core clinical rotations in Lynchburg fill up quickly? My husband will
Be moving with me wherever I end up going to med school and it is hard for me to imagine moving between OMS2 and OMS3.
