Verified pre 6/29. Recieved secondaries elsewhere but not here.

Could someone explain the HTE program in more detail? If a big part of our primary app is "tech-oriented", would it be expected we apply to HTE as well?

did you have issues on the 2 multiple choice questions under the short answer tab? it isn't saving the responses for me, but everything else is saving
 
From years past, it seems as though USC-Keck is willing to review applications for interview invite considerations that are incomplete? I am having some problems with my committee letter so I might not "complete" till ~August but wondering if I submit everything else early whether or not they would actually review my application before the letter.

I've heard that pre-completion review is generally for super high stats but I could be wrong
 
Should I be concerned if I haven't received a secondary yet? I know it's supposed to be automatic? Primary submitted 6/03, verified 6/19.

I was verified 6/13 and still nothing from USC. LM 77. Guess we just have to wait....

What are you guys thinking about putting for the "What is the most fun you've had lately" question? I have a few ideas, 1 being amusic course i too where i learned to play the filipino guitar lol

Just be honest. I would honestly try to make it as far away from school as possible. As long as it's not binge drinking with the frat bros pretty much anything will suffice. I think they just want to know you're a human who has fun outside of school
 
Those who submitted, are you still getting application NOT complete under status tab in the portal. In the confirmation email, "Your application will be considered complete once your LORs have been received" LORs in AMCAS, so what the hell?

Submitted today and getting this message, they might not have downloaded them yet?

yea, Im having the same issue. AAMC says to wait a week then contact the school directly
 
May throw my hat in even tho Im OOS. 511/3.6 so my stats are on the lower end but the secondary seems fun and the school seemed really cool. Do they have a research focus or more about community?
 
For those who did not receive it. I would mention I did not find mine in my inbox until I searched "secondary" on mail app. Turns out, I received it in Junk, then it was moved to trash for some reason. Just an FYI
 
Just got my secondary as well, OOS regular MD. Maybe they're sending them out in small waves to prevent everyone rushing to their server at once?

Is the question "Are you a member of a group that is under-represented in medicine?" based off of Keck's definition or AAMC's? According to Keck's policy, only Black and Hispanic students are considered UIM. I find this interesting since Native American/Alaskan Native isn't included.

I received an email with the title saying "Keck School of Medicine: Supplemental Application Received". But, I still haven't been marked as complete.

I'm the opposite, my application is marked as complete but I didn't get an email. Weird.
 
I'm starting to debate responding to the prompt about a nickname with some nickname pertaining to insanity and explaining that the question made me second-guess everything I know and now I feel like a crazy person lol. That would be the honest answer!

I read somewhere that USC's Associate Dean of Admissions personally reads all secondaries before either acceptance or II (forget which, I think it's acceptance). This is probably why they're so short!

On a related note, they seem pretty relaxed about LoR requirements. I'm thinking of submitting three individual letters instead of waiting another 3 weeks for my committee letter. Is this a good idea?

EDIT: I'm just gonna submit three letters! Might as well, I have a good feeling about this school and I'm anxious to have a complete application already. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
