Did you get the email earlier this week saying your decision would be made on 2/28 instead of 3/2, or had you not heard anything since your interview?

No I did not, so I was very shocked and surprised to get the phone call. It went to my voicemail because I didn’t hear it ring the first time since I was sleeping.

Received the much awaited phone call this morning. Interviewed 2/10.
Still awaiting the email though!
Currently over the moon!!!!

amazing stuff, congrats❤I’m probably going to get another deferral since I didn’t get the call

edit: ayeeee deferred round 8 (I think) to March 16 lol

Just got the deferral email right now. Does anybody actually get rejected after an interview or is everyone deferred unless accepted?

So for those who are deferred, is there a certain date they will make a decision by, or it more of a WL that I could stay on through the spring/summer?

Next update will be March 16th; its generally every two weeks on a Monday.

Hey all,
For those of you who have started on getting your Immunization Record completed and titers done - have you been successful in having your health insurance pay for your titers/tests? I have been on a wild ride and wanted to see if there was any advice from the people who have gone through it. UAs Health Services said I could get it done at ASU's downtown clinic, but then the clinic said I had to be a current student so I went through my primary care doc and BOY has it been a mess. I started the process in January and from the lab just straight up ignoring the order and not doing the Hep B surface antibody quant titer, to not being able to get a hold of the office for weeks, I am nearly at my wits end. My insurance says they cover those specific tests, they just need the right diagnosis code. Currently the code is Z020 which is just "examination for school admission". Anything with that on it gets denied immediately so that's why I have a $500 bill for a varicella titer and TB test (yikes!). Does anyone know of a diagnosis code their doc used? Or any suggestions? Is there just no way around that?

Also, I'm STILL trying to get them to order the Hep B titer correctly, and am getting nervous since that's the most time sensitive one. Did you go through your primary care doc? Independent lab? Wish there was more instructions to help navigate the process efficiently. :/ I'm feeling like everything that can go wrong is going wrong. Any advice is much appreciated!

Man that is just patently ridiculous...Did the insurance company ever tell you the codes that you would need to have for them to accept the bill? The insurance company should know the codes they want from the documentation they received from your PCP. But if you have to find codes for them to bill (which is dumb) maybe these:

Varicella Titre - Z23.0 (Encounter for Immunization) or Z11.03 (Encounter for screening of other viral disease)
TB Test - Z11.1 (Encounter for screening of respiratory tuberculosis)
Hep B Titer - Z01.84 (Encounter for antibody response examination)

Don't know what to do with them though. Would you call your doctor to ask them to resubmit the claim with these codes? I guess keep in contact with your insurance company and PCP because 500 ain't no joke.

Another option for the titres, depending on where you live, if you really have to, you could just go to a lab and get it done (your insurance company may not have to cover it but you would still get the test). Companies like SonoraQuest in Arizona offer it (Hepatitis B Immunity Screen (Hep B Titer Test) | My Lab ReQuest).

Mine was just through my PCP and while it was annoying, it wasn't anything like this. I know the email from the school sounds scary that "lacking immunizations could delay registration", but if you are making a good faith effort to get it done, no matter what happens you'll be alright

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I SO appreciate your thorough help and support! I talked with Admissions, and I might be able to go down to Tucson to get the Hep B titer at their clinic, or else I'll definitely go through a private lab. I would much rather pay $30 or whatever it ends up being, instead of some $200+ mystery charge and the continued headache of dealing with this PCP office. I'm glad to know that at least this isn't the norm! Thank you for the advice and support!

Does anyone know what tuition is like if our spouse works for the U of A and has full benefits?

How many acceptances do they hand out on March 16 each year? Anyone have an idea of how much hope I should have, if any? I've been deferred 3 times now. OOS.

I just checked the forum for last year:

On March 18th (2019), 6 people posted that they were accepted on that day. Of those 6, two were to the Pathways Scholars Program (meaning in-state, perhaps first generation, etc.).

On March 21st another person posted that he or she was also accepted "recently."

So March 16 is the last day for deferrals, right? Like I’ll for sure get waitlisted or rejected if I don’t get an acceptance on Monday?

I'm guessing another hour or so of possibility? if 18 more calls were to be made starting at 8am pst, and they're about 9 minutes each and lets say 10min between each call, maybe it's less but then theres a bigger break between chunks of calls then that would put the last called around noon pst or a little after. this is where my nervous brain is going. Do you think they're alphabetical? If so then I'm toast already, but I really loved the school so keeping hope alive

still no email as far as waitlist or rejection.... would've been nice if they sent those out earlier in the day so we werent waiting around for a phone call and then now being further tortured by delay in finding out if we at least made the waitlist or not..

Same here. Haven’t heard a word. Idk why they couldn’t have sent email out earlier, unless they are still deliberating

Is the first of all decisions that haven’t been an A? Do they save all WL and post II Rs for the end of the cycle?

Accepted yesterday! I really would love to go here, just need to see what the financial aid package looks like :/
