Yeah I just got the II today and scheduled it for 3/19. I would call them to confirm but I think you’re fine since there’s no separate virtual interview appointment scheduler, it’s all the same. Only thing you have to do is sign up for the zoom account online.
Thanks for the help Lux and yes I'll call admissions. Good luck with your upcoming virtual interview 🙂 !

It’s going to be interesting lol. I’m contemplating on if I should wear my full suit or just the top part since that’s all they will be seeing. Good luck to you as well! I believe we still have a realistic chance of getting in here!

Does anyone know if exams have board style questions or not? I remember asking during interview day but want to make sure I remember correctly.

This semester we do have more because we are already doing systems but not all the questions are and I’m grateful cause our exams are extremely long. Our last one ended up being 172 questions.

I cancelled my 3/19 interview due to another acceptance. I hope it goes out to one of you all. Good luck this cycle everyone and stay safe out there too!

So last cycle, they interviewed all the way to May? I wonder how the coronavirus will affect how long they interview this cycle and if decisions will be delayed.

Does anyone know what time zone the virtual interviews will be held in? I'm guessing eastern since the interviewers will be in Florida but don't want to take a chance with this and possibly miss my interview time. I'm currently in PST.

In the email it says all interviews are held in eastern standard time

Does anybody know how the virtual interview will be initiated? Will they be contacting us first?

Check your emails, they postponed all of the virtual emails to help the school transition to online 🙁

I wonder how thats going to affect our chances of getting in now? I'm guessing we still have the same chance and that they just had to extend their cycle a little. They did interview all the way up to may last cycle. Also, I saw that someone interviewed in April and got accepted in May so anything is possible

For everyone referencing how NOVA interviewed all the way into may (and even June in a few cases) last cycle, I was told during my interview that it was bc when the admissions committee went to fill the remaining spots via WL, they just didn't like those applicants that much so they decided to just start interviewing more applicants.

I just emailed Nova and they said that my interview ( was 3/19 and now 4/28) will still be for a seat in the class and not for the waitlist.

Have an online interview 4/1. Any advice for how these are going?? Is it just interview or are there any kind of information talks given?

I believe it’s just an interview. When did you get an II? Also I thought all interviews are on hold until after April 17th

Accepted to NSU-Tampa Bay campus. Interviewed 3/3. I really enjoyed Interview Day for this school. Any thoughts for why I should pick this school over another? I am kind of torn between NSU and VCOM. Please advise!!!

Yes! I was assigned to the Davie campus this week from the waitlist.
Same! The change reflected on my sharklink last night, so excited!

Amazing! When did you put yourself on the waitlist? Any idea what number you were on the waitlist?
I placed myself on the list at the end of January. Hope you get the campus you preferred as well! Finger crossed. I know the question did not direct at me, but since I can answer so why not XD

Thank you! Did you get an email with the change? If so, was it to your personal or nova email?

I also was moved to the Davie campus from the campus waitlist yesterday. I got on the waitlist early February! I'm so excited. Go Sharks!

Where do you see the change reflected on your sharklink?

So did any more acceptances for March go out last night? When they send out acceptances, it's pretty much always in one batch regarding the interviews in the preceding month right? I also interviewed in early March and have not heard anything, so just wondering if I need to swallow the pill that this means likely a waitlist or rejection letter is coming. :/

Applied in September and randomly got an II last week. Only date I saw available to pick from was 4/1

Check your email, all interviews are being pushed back until after April 17th. I believe you have a April 30th interview now if you originally had a April 2nd one

I was placed on the list during the last week of January. I couldn’t find anyone here who joined before that, also my interview group was the first accepted this year, and they were accepting ppl for the Davie campus in December. so I believe I was at the one of the first, but I have no idea about the exact number.

I have no emails from them after my confirmation for April 2. When did people receive this change?

“Hello Applicants,

First off, I am hoping that each of you and your families are safe and weathering these unusual times in our country and our health care system.

I want to inform you, that in order to assure a safe campus and to enhance social distancing, President George Hanbury advised all colleges at NSU to shift to an on-line educational delivery. Since NSU has always been a national leader in distance education, our transition is going smoothly. We will begin the online education for all NSU colleges on March 23, 2020 and will continue to deliver education in this fashion until April 17, 2020.

However, with this change, faculty have been asked to prepare different formats of lectures and different methods of testing. Due to this unexpected change, I am sorry to inform you that all interviews from now until April 17, 2020will be postponed.

Please understand that you are important to us, so we have extended our interview session into May to assure that you have an opportunity to meet us and we to meet you.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Applicants:

If you were scheduled on March 17th you have now been rescheduled for a ZOOM interview on April 21st

If you were scheduled on March 19thth you have now been rescheduled for a ZOOM interview on April 28th

If you were scheduled on March 31st or April 2nd you have now been rescheduled for a ZOOM interview on April 30th

If you were scheduled to interview for the Certificate Program in Health Professions Preparation on March 30th, you have now been rescheduled for a ZOOM interview on April 27th

Please let us know if this will not work with your schedule. We hope that we will see you at that time.

Stay well.

Elaine M. Wallace, D.O., Dean”

Got this email this past Tuesday

What is the financial aid code for NSU-KPCOM for FAFSA? Is it the same as the one for NSU undergrad (001509)? I can't find it on the website and they only have email for fin aid no # right now.

any news about movement on the campus waitlist? Had anyone heard anything recently?

Hi everyone! I heard that there are 2 campuses. I browsed the website but could not get more info on either campus, and the first page of this discussion did not say much about the locations. I got rejected from NSU-KPCOM and will re-apply next cycle so I just need more info.
All I heard was that there was the:
1. Older Fort Lauderdale, FL
2. Newer Tampa Bay/Clearwater, FL

Besides being new, any other differences between the two?
Do students get accepted to 1 location only? OR are both campuses sharing same exact students?
Are there more or less students at either campus?
Do students get a choice of campus?

Thank you all for helping me get more info for next year!

Hi, Here is the information that I know regarding the two campuses:
Davie (Fort Lauderdale) is the original campus. The DO school shares a building with the MD school, nursing school, dental school, and other health professions. They are on a greater campus with a big undergraduate college and graduate program. The Tampa Bay campus was just built this year so the campus is obviously very new and beautiful. They are not as big of a campus and do not have all the undergraduate and graduate programs on the same campus. There are about 40 more DO students at Davie than at Tampa but other than that the programs, curriculum and resources are identical. Half the classes are given at Davie and skyped into Tampa and half are given at Tampa and skyped into Davie. They get access to the same resources and material...

If you get accepted early in the cycle, you get a choice of which campus you want to attend. If you get accepted later in the cycle it depends where there is room for you. I got accepted to the program in late February and there was only room in Tampa so I was placed at the Tampa location but was able to put myself on a campus waitlist for Fort Lauderdale and am hopeful that I will be able to get a spot there as people drop out. Honestly, the Tampa location seems really appealing to me but I have family in south Florida and am rooting for Fort Lauderdale just so I can stay close to them.
