So I interviewed 9/26 and a person from my batch got accepted on 10/31 but I am yet to hear back and it has been over 6 weeks. For those who were put on hold or were rejected, did you hear back later than you expected to or is there still a chance for an acceptance? I've been holding my breath on this for weeks and I know I need to wait and see what comes but I just haven't heard back one way or another.

Any chance that anyone else is interviewing here on Thursday the 14th and wants to split a hotel room from 11/13 to 11/14?

So I have a question, on this SF-86 form, if we have just lived at home our entire lives, do we just list it once for the entirety?

I listed my home multiple times. Form seemed to check out without issues.

If that’s the reality then there’s nothing wrong with that form appearing or seeming redundant. In fact, you have a simple task of entering just one place. I’m just thankful they didn’t want me to go back to birth because I have around 20 different addresses. Don’t overthink it 🙂

Thanks man/woman, just didn't want something to go wrong because I misinterpreted lol

To everyone who got accepted, how long after your interview did you receive the phone call? I interviewed on 11/14 and am hoping to hear back before Christmas

I interviewed 10/24 and got the call 11/15

I think it’s definitely possible to get a call before Christmas, but I recall reading somewhere that interviews taking place in November/December MAY hear back in 6 to 8 weeks. According to that statement, there’s a chance you’ll hear before Christmas!

My host said he interviewed in November and heard back in February. It's possible to hear back before then though.

Hey! We interviewed on the same day. A faculty member told me that “every effort is made to get the decisions out prior to Christmas.”

Weather wise-- Should we bring a coat/jacket to wear on top of our suits for the interview? Will there be a lot of walking around outside?

Awesome 🙂 That's what I figured. How'd your interview go?
I honestly have no idea :/ My interviewers had excellent poker faces. I'm more concerned about branch selection - I noted that Air Force was my first preference, with the other three branches as close second preferences. I'm anxious that this might throw off my chances of acceptance! This school is easily my first choice, so I really hope everything works out. How was yours?

For those who have interviewed, what time did the interview day end at? Trying to figure out my flight plan home...

Hey that would depend on your interview schedule for the day which you won't know until you arrive. A good bet though is to plan for 4PM (they seem to try and get everyone out by then). Some people were able to finish the day at 2:30-3:00PM, but you may want to stick around and talk with CAPT Liotta cause he hangs around until the end of day and he's really cool to talk to.

I feel like my interviews went really well and overall I had a great experience. This school is also my first choice so best of luck to both of us!

Just received an email notification saying that my application was completed(submitted >month) and another email asking me to fill out my prerequisites. Hopefully didn't apply too late.

Those who need a medical waiver: has anyone received a decision yet?

I haven’t been told I need a waiver (yet), but I had to submit some additional paperwork for them to make a decision on my medical readiness. Hopefully I don’t need one...
good luck getting yours though!

I need to get a waiver cause my eyes are no bueno. However I spoke with one of the students currently at USUHS during my interview and he had the same issue but mentioned that it's very easy to get a waiver for Myopia.

Yeah I’m not certain, but I believe the stipulation is just that your vision can be correctable to 20/20. In other words, lots of people wear glasses in the military 🙂 I’m sure you’ll be fine!

How soon after the phone call did you get the papers in the mail to sign? I’m dying to have something in writing lol
