Have not heard anything yet. I was complete and under review in early July. If you call, please let us know what they say!!!
 
Made an acct just to post this:

I spoke to Dean Strother yesterday (campus visit), he mentioned that they have received many more verified applications to start the year than they have typically had at this point in years past. Since they do a manual, holistic screen, they may just be backed up.
I think it is too early to worry, as it has only been a couple of weeks since their cycle began.

tl;dr Relax, UT has a notoriously long & late cycle. They'll get to ya

IS, verified very early, have not heard yet either.

Last year it wasn’t much notice, maybe a week if I remember correctly. Definitely no more than 2 weeks.

2. Got the "we've received your primary..." email on 7/2
3. Heard nothing yet.

They're known for being slow and doing things haphazardly. Not sweating it lol
 
Do you guys know what bona fide resident means? Does that just mean if you are in state or out of state?
 
Does anyone know if the passport sized photo for the secondary can be a regular headshot that’s cropped? Or do I need a legit passport photo?

I used a free online tool that will crop it into a 2x2 photo. Same pic I used for other secondaries.
 
They will start sending out IIs this week. Now to obsessively refresh my email on my phone 200x a day when I'm not busy at work

Oh wait you're right. I thought Oct. 1st was a Monday. Do they always start with a weeks notice? Or do they give 2 weeks notice as well?
 
Anyone know the likelihood of an interview after getting a secondary?
 
Did y’all get a confirmation email once you submitted your secondary? If so, how long after you submitted? 🙂
 
Same, took around 2.5 hours. If you submit late in the day, you may have to wait til the next day

Received notice they got my primary on August 7. Haven't received secondary yet. Should I worry? Has anyone that has an August complete date received a secondary yet?

My last letter wasn't sent in til August 20th, so I guess I wasnt complete til then technically? UTHSC is weird in that they don't seem to go in any order in which people submit primary and secondary apps. I wouldn't worry at this point

Same email August 1st, no secondary yet!
 
Primary submitted August 18th, secondary received August 27th, secondary completion email a couple of hours after submitting on August 27th.
IS non-trad, LM 72
 
Received e-mail that they got my primary on 7/12, Secondary received 9/30 and completed 9/30
 
Anybody gotten an ii yet? interviews are supposed to be starting a week from today!
 
Submitted AMCAS June 5, verified July 2, secondary received and complete September 20th

Congratulations! The invitations have begun! Goodluck everyone! Hopefully some (or all) of us can be classmates.

Out of curiosity, anyone know if MD/PhD interviews are different? Or do you have to be admitted to the MD class then apply for the PhD?
 
Just in case anyone is curious, I got my invitation at 11 pm last night. So, I take it that pretty much any time is fair game for getting one! I know that it always helps me to know when to look for something, so I hope that knowing this helps someone else too!!!
