Has anyone seen documents disappear from their portals?

I sent a Thank You via email and they uploaded it to the portal, and I saw it in there a while ago, but now it's not.

Any insight into when they might release more decisions? I interviewed on 9/11 and have not heard from them since, other than the Road to Matriculation Series.

8 different interviewers after reading/viewing the prompts. There was also a station where I had to do a task with the interviewer. Goodluck!
How was the overall vibe of the interview? Stressful, average, or chill?

I agree with @Wanna_Be_MD. This was my first non-asynchronous interview, and while I was really nervous at first, after the first couple stations I actually kind of had fun because I felt that the interviewers actually cared about my responses -they were excited about meeting the applicants, which made me all the more excited. Overall, it was just a really great experience.

Is there any hope?

Yep! CMU sends IIs later than most folks in the cycle, and from what I've seen in those who have gotten IIs so far, they submitted their secondaries by early September at the latest. I hope with patience you are awarded with an II and an acceptance 🙂

Thanks! I really want to move on in life

Bruh, interviewed october 23 and have not heard a peep! anybody got a clue when I should expect to hear bacK? Thanks in advance!

Skimming past threads, it looks like you could hear anytime between 10/15 (which obviously has passed) and May for a WL spot. I guess when they say they "may not review you in the first round of post-II decision meetings) they mean that. It does seem, anecdotally, that no news is good news if that makes you feel any better.

So if you didn’t hear back within a month then you’re most likely WL?

No, not at all! Sorry for the confusion. I just meant that there were people who, by May, still hadn't heard back and they got WL'd. But there were also people who interviewed in Sept and heard in Feb that they were accepted.

I had a question about that payment error back in August (if anyone else was in the same boat). I paid the fee again and resubmitted (original submission day 07/28 and second submission on the day of the error), but I just went back into my portal today to reread my secondary and my application had the option to submit again! My bank statement shows that I was charged and I had a green checkmark, but my portal does not show an updated submission day from when I re-submitted on August 4th. *Sorry that was rlly complicated to explain* so does that mean my application was never technically submitted?

Your best bet would be emailing admissions, maybe sending screenshots. That's odd for sure.

completed in July, and still haven't heard anything. Should I give up hope now lol??

Honestly this is my case for most schools-- I completed all secondaries in June/July.....
I am in the same boat friend! Lots of rejections and lots of silence :/

Hello everyone, Has anyone received a post interview WL or R? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if there's a chance any decisions will be sent out M-W this week (assuming the office isn't already closed for the break)? I know last cycle the last wave of decisions for the year came out Dec 19 but they haven't released any decisions this month, so I thought maybe they would this week? Idk I think I'm just being hopeful but it would be nice if some good news came out this week before the break
I saw someone say the next time the committee was meeting was in January, I have no clue where that info came from but I highly doubt we would hear this week- but we can hope!

Does Mount Pleasant have a Target or anything like that? Like wear do students find what they need to furnish apartments?

I apologize if this is somewhere in the thread, but do they give pre ii R or updates? and do they consider updates to the application like new activities ect

I'm pretty sure they said somewhere that they don't accept updates, but you could email admissions to double check. I'm not sure if they give applicants updates as to their status.

They gave out some pre II rejections already, but it is rare at this stage.

In terms of updates, yes, I submitted update letters/ letters of continued interest. For full disclosure, I submitted my secondary end of July, but am an international (Canadian) student, so not sure if I got passed over or am at the "bottom of the pile" due to my international status. Happy holidays!

Has anyone heard about other prematriculation requirements/deadlines? Scared I'm gonna miss something...

Also, could any current students talk about if classes have been in person at all, or is everything fully through zoom?

1st year here. For the most part the lectures have been optional in-person (spaced seating) but a majority of students stay at home since all lectures are live streamed and recorded. Problem/case based learning has been all online through microsoft teams. Anatomy lab was open until the last week of the semester, but had restrictions on amount of people in the room at the same time. Have also had in-person patient simulation encounters which has been nice.

Thanks for answering! So have you felt that there's been a good balance of being able to be in-person for what you need while also keeping you safe by being remote when possible? As in, do you think the precautions have impeded your learning?

Also, would you mind talking about how your class schedule is set up? Like are lectures every day, and then team based learning on certain days?
