Hi, I am an international student with stats of 3.91/518. I have around 300 hr volunteering experience and 4000 hr research. Does anyone know how likely I will get an II? I know it's different and less likely for international students but just wondering.

I am unsure whether in state or out of state matters at this school because it's private, but correct me if I'm wrong

I have a few questions!

Can you share any insights on the interview? How long after your interview did you find out about admissions?
Also, what do you think about the school/match rates and stuff?

Interview: Don't ever look at your phone. Like I would suggest either turning it off or just leaving it in your car. Be nice to everyone, someone is always watching you (and just like...you should probably be nice anyway). Otherwise it's actually pretty chill, tends to favor extroverts. Have an interesting fact about yourself ready. Be social, they're big on that. Not sure how all of this plays out with zoom interviews tho...

Post interview: IIRC it was 2.5 weeks, but I think mine was on the shorter end.

Match: Kind of a mixed bag here, with the merger going on at the same time as Nova's issues. My understanding is that a lot of it was due to lack of utilization of COMSAE as a screening tool. Most schools use it as a practice test to determine whether you're eligible to take COMLEX, I guess Nova just instituted this in the last couple of years (I'm told). So basically some students were taking comlex without really being ready (which doesn't happen at other schools). Thus, comlex scores went up as they/we started using COMSAE. Before my time, so couldn't actually confirm.
Last year's match was pretty awesome (general trend with DO schools), and the dean told us comlex pass rates were above national average (I wanna say 98%, but don't quote me). Also matched 234/240 with another 3 scrambling into spots (per dean). From what I've actually seen at Nova, nothing that particularly predisposes us to lower board scores or match rates. Sure, people complain about profs teaching low-yield stuff but like...that's pretty much every school lol.

It looks like interviews are mostly going to the high GPA applicants first. Out of curiosity, have any reinventors or low GPA high MCAT people gotten an II here yet?

I'm curious about this as well, my gpa and mcat scores are good but just average so maybe that's what they're doing?

i'm 510, cGPA 3.63, and sGPA 3.83. my gpa isn't really low, i'd like to think, but not as high as some of the others. i'm also IS tho so

I got one and I am DEFINITELY a reinventor with a low cGPA and high sGPA for AACOMAS (assuming 3.75 is high). My post-bacc GPA was high.

Is anyone else interviewing next week? I think it's odd that my interview is in 6 days and I have no information about what time it'll be at, or what the layout of the interview will be other than it's on Zoom.
Edit: they did send me a "reminder" email saying that my interview is in 1 week, but it seemed automated and it provided me details about in-person interviews which further makes me think it was an automated email.

I’m getting really nervous cause this is my top choice and haven’t heard anything. I was complete 7/18

Literally me, complete since 6/19 and still nothing but you never know! There’s still a ton of rounds of interviews so we never know what could happen!

Hey guys! When I just checked the portal, I saw they used my MD physician LOR instead of my DO LOR. Did this happen to anyone else? I had submitted both my MD and DO LORS through AACOMAS.

Super random but does anyone know the email address for the admissions office? I have been trying to reach them through the email on their website but they keep saying that they have forwarded my email to the right person, except I never heard further 😡😡

I recommended calling them honestly. It’s much faster.

Does the school provide a status link? I can log-in to my submitted app data, but can't find any status.

Anyone else interviewing tomorrow that wants to chat?

I submitted my primary on August 5, and still no secondary. Should I email admissions or is their system just behind?
