Thank you! Pretty stoked about the II, but I hope some earlier dates open up. I'm sure they will as other people start to accept other offers.

got a pre-II R after being on "committee" for a little over a month :/ confused bc my gpa is at their median, my mcat is above their average, i have pretty decent EC's and am from california
 
Can anyone who has had an interview tell me the time limit for each MMI interview and group discussion?

I had a 25 minute session with one interviewer and given 2 different scenarios. Then a 25 minute interview with another interviewer that was open file. Then the group, I think it was like 30 minutes of discussion?

Did you use all 25 minutes for each of the interview sessions?
 
Submitted secondary application on 9/21. Got marked complete on 11/9 with committee status. Just got II today. 🙂 February is still the earliest interview date that is open. MCAT 508. cGPA 3.4. sGPA 3.2 From WA.
 
Hey does anyone remember them talking about what the students week is like at PNWU? Like what days are class days and do we get Friday’s off?
 
Finally on committee status after months of waiting to be complete!

Hi happyplace!
So I’m honestly not entirely sure how it will go next year with COVID, but typically, we have lectures 5 days a week, though you don’t have to be on campus for all of them. 2nd year has a LOT more flexibility, but 1st year you’ve got Anatomy lab on Thursdays, FM lab on Tuesdays, and OPP lab on Wednesdays, with lectures scheduled around them. Sometimes you’ll have an afternoon off to be able to study, but not always. Lectures/labs usually run 8AM - 5PM M-F. It’s busy but I know a lot of people who don’t study too much outside of that time - I feel like we’re pretty lecture heavy, but don’t have a ton of required reading assignments so it’s a little more interactive with lectures instead of a textbook. I view it very much like a job, and usually take the weekends off. 🙂

Awesome, Thank you so much for that info! Do you think PNWU gives you adequate outside study time to study for the boards? My biggest concern is being bogged down with class that I can’t get a study session in to review, read, and practice for boards.
 
Hi all, I just checked my portal and saw my status now reads "Interview 11/25". Before I preemptively celebrate, does this mean I should expect an interview offer in my e-mail soon? I tried looking at previous pages but saw some mixed answers. Thanks in advance, and good luck to all. (Also, before anyone asks, I was completed 9/14 and had committee status since 10/23.)

Yes you can celebrate now and expect to see an interview offer in your email Mon or Tues. If you don’t hear back by then, you can email.

Yes and no. There’s a survey earlier in thread for people who have been under committee and the outcome, but people gave been both interviewer and rejected at committee. It’s likely similar to a hold at other schools.

I got my II on the evening of 11/24 and emailed my date preference right after. Still haven’t heard back, does anyone know their normal turnaround time? Just wondering if i should call to confirm

You'll probably hear back this week. Thanksgiving may have gotten in the way of responding to emails.
 
I saw you all chatting and checked my portal earlier today and nadda. Just checked it five minutes ago and I went straight to Interview Invite!!!

But....it says it is due on Sunday the 6th. How is that going to work?

Edit: I haven't gotten an email and I don't see anything about dates to select for an interview. Just the Checklist item "Interview." I'm assuming the email will have more info. Neuroticism has suddenly kicked back on. And here I had been doing so well...
