yeah idk if I'm just incredibly stupid, but I can't figure this out either. I can't log into the gatorlink without a UFID, and it says my email can't be found when trying to login to the check applicant status.
You have to wait until your professional application is done being processed. They'll send you an email with your UFID.

turns out I am incredibly stupid. I just realized I never submitted my professional application. thanks bud

didn't realize how heavy the IS bias was when i sent the primary

worth it to apply if my only ties to the state are that some family members live there?

yeah I think so, just try to integrate that into an essay (no why us essay option though, so that would probably have to be in the additional comments essay)

When the app asks for your SAT and ACT, what if you took the old SAT version with three subsections?

I entered it as like, but ya know without the perfect scores haha
Below are my ACT and SAT scores:
ACT: 36 Composite, 36 English, 36 Mathematics, 36 Science, 26 English (Writing)
SAT: 800 Reading, 800 Math, 800 Writing

Hmmm, maybe we had different interfaces, because for me it looked like the following: Sat Reading (Box), Math (Box), Date taken (Box); Act (Box), Date taken (Box). So inherently it doesn't give me an option to input a writing score for my old SAT.

I don’t think these scores matter that much lol probably just for data collection. Plus if you indicate the date taken they’ll know it was a different format

lol I think I mixed this up with FSU, sorry!!

Same. Cant figure it out. Probably will call soon.

Probably Reddit one. Also don’t be worried. It’ll happen when it happens. I’ve had to remind myself that even if others get II and I don’t, I’ll still be ok. You got this!

link?

Hey guys! So I completed my secondary on 8/3 and sent my LORs on 8/4; all my other schools except UCF and UF have marked them as received. For UF, both the LOR subsection on the home page and the document page are empty. Did I do something wrong? Should I contact the admissions office Monday?

Yea I would call/email just to follow up on it

Hey, for those who went to UF for undergrad and graduated by the time of application, did you put the same UF ID as the one you had in undergrad?I'm not sure if I need to wait for the professional app to be processed or if I can submit with my old UF ID even though I graduated.

it says if you already have a UFID to use that

Do we need to also submit official trascripts based on this disclaimer in the Professional Application, even though we already submitted them to AMCAS?
"Please provide a complete and accurate account of your academic history. Failure to do so could result in the forfeiture of admission, credits earned or degrees awarded. Your previous institutions must forward your complete transcript directly to the University of Florida Office of Admissions. Your admissions decision will not be finalized until we receive all official documents."

I believe that would be for if you got accepted, they'd want to see final transcripts. Don't think it's needed or desired before (I got an II without doing that). They get your AMCAS, after all.

If I applied last year, do I want to email them to carry over the UF Professional Schools Application? Are there pros and cons to this? Should I just fill out a new one? I'm kinda confused on what it even is...

Hi everyone! I'm currently a first-year OOS student here at UFCOM! I know the interview process looks a little different this year and you might not have the chance to really get a feel for the community of the city/school like you normally would, so if you have any questions about anything, please feel free to ask! Good luck!!

IS received, but I was wondering how many activities are you guys putting for the professional app?

edit: one more question, I know for USF residency it had us declare ourselves as independents, I'm assuming the same for UF if it says graduate and professional students?
to follow up with that questions, what kind of activities are they looking for? not like extracurricular activities or volunteering right? when they say travel, does that include like travel for vacations?

I got an email with a "pin" number. I do not see a UF ID on my landing page, though. Any tips, team? What am I doing wrong lol?

Have a scenario (or multiple) for each competency
Are you referring to the AAMC competencies (Social Skills, Cultural Competence, Teamwork, Reliability and Dependability, Resilience and Adaptability) or like the UF competencies? (Not sure if this is a dumb question lol)

When the 2nd prompt says to reflect on the three quotes, are you all answering how you reflect on them? Or just answering the part of the question that says to tell them about your own life experiences? If you are reflecting on them, are you mentioning all 3 and integrating them into your paragraphs? I am lost on what to do and need some advice!
also asking about this. all the quotes are similar but still different enough from each, so how are people going about attempting to address/reflect on all of them?

No, there's 5 they chose for the VITA, they tell you what they are in the documents. I think shemmassian also has them
