Well if I have to reapply I’m not applying to this school again. Imagine not responding to an email at all. Smfh. Goes to show you that all these schools are about is money.
Yes and no. It's not about the money. It's about selecting the best class possible, and then getting the people they want to enroll. They really don't care about anyone else.
It's a sellers' market, with WAAAAYYYY more candidates than available spots, so, they really can get away with just about anything. Some schools care about everyone having a good experience, staff their offices adequately, and train their people to be polite, respectful and responsive to EVERYONE. Others don't. It is what it is.
People complain about it all the time, on multiple threads. Nothing changes. Hackensack honestly doesn't care whether or not you, or anyone else, reapplies, and not a single person reading this in the future is going to deny themselves an opportunity to maybe be admitted because the staff treated you, or anyone else, like crap during the 2021-22 cycle.
Some schools are notorious for having horrific admissions offices while others have reputations for being great to deal with. Hackensack is new, and its reputation is being formed right now, but, whichever way it goes, people will apply based on location, MSAR, 3 year program, whatever. The responsiveness of the admissions staff is not a criterion in choosing where to apply for anyone, anywhere. If it was, things would be different. They are not.
