Just declined my Acceptance here. I am very excited it will go to one of you. I was part of their first interview group of the season, 8/18. I am a reapplicant, my MCAT is a 505 from a 499. 3.7 GPA, out of state. I got 0 acceptances my first time applying to medical school, and now I have 8. I get giddy declining these offers and knowing it will go to someone else deserving. All of this is to say, do not give up. You WILL be a doctor. ♥️

Does anyone know what it means to be a highly-rated alternate? I go the alternate email a few weeks ago and they said "Since you are a highly rated “Alternate”, we do want to inform you that KPCOM will send out its next set of acceptance letters on December 16, 2022.”

Do any current students from previous application cycles know what I can expect from this? and how good of a chance do students typically have getting off the alternate list?

Did anyone placed on the waitlist early in the admission cycle (August interview, WL decision in September) have "highly-rated" status?

Also, does anyone have pointers on how to write an update letter (recently started a new job with more clinical focus)?

Pre-II rejection. Complete end of August. 51x mcat 3.3 cGPA (4.0 post bacc). A little surprised didn't even make an interview but my gpa is on the low end. GL to the rest!

If your mcat is in the 51x and gpa is 3.3, I don’t think it was because of your stats. Maybe lack an EA that may be important for them?

Definitely possible as a non-trad! Thought I had a decent spread of clinical and non-clinical volunteering, but not trying to say I had a perf app at all 🙂

Who knows.. don’t sweat it…. If you can find info to improve then that’s your best bet. Best of luck to you!

Anyone interview on 11/1 and receive any news/updates or changes?

Did someone interviewed on 10/27 receive an acceptance?

did anyone else get an R and then a week later get an email recommending what sounds like a post bacc linkage program? Makes me think that my gpa (or maybe MCAT) wasn't high enough?

This who got the Financial award letter- what is the tuition shown in your letter after aeard(s)? I am little confused with what I got.

Does anyone know if more specific instructions for the in-person interview will be sent out prior to the interview date? I see a tentative agenda for the interview day on the website, but not the location or further details. Thanks!

Does anyone know this Nova's history with the waitlist? I've been waitlisted since November and was wondering my chances actually are of getting accepted and when movement starts occurring for the list.

I officially declined my acceptance today. Wishing you all the best of luck!

I signed up for an interview but didn’t get a confirmation email. Did this happen to anyone else?
