I'm complete at Georgia but not PA or South Georgia. Should I email or something? I'm not sure what to do. My letters and MCAT scores have been marked as received for awhile now so I'm not sure what else is missing

sorry, i may not be understanding this but why would you withdraw your application? i think paying for both only means you lost out on $75 but it's fine in terms of your candidacy

i did not release my scores to AACOMAS yet (I did not know we were supposed to -- dumb mistake) but PCOM PA, South GA, and GA say my MCAT scores are received?? can someone explain this to me

Withdraw my SG application because I dont want to be considered for SG

Curious, but why do you all not like SG campus?

My guess would be that SGA is a much newer campus so they’re worried it won’t have as strong of a reputation or curriculum. As a current M1, I know that all campuses have similar lecture content and similar quizzes/exams. The PCOM reputation is still there for GA and SGA. The local opportunities might be different though. I personally love the PA campus but all campuses are great. If they’re not wanting the SGA or GA campuses for more personal reasons related to the locations, that’s understandable though.

Can anyone who has already been interviewed confirm that there is only one 30 min interview with faculty?

Those who have already interviewed, did you feel it was formal or more conversational? How did y'all prepare?

I interview in a week. It'll be my first interview and PCOM-PA is my first choice so I really don't want to mess it up.

Just submitted my primary to PCOM last night! How long does it usually take for them to send me the secondary portal?

Interviewed earlier today! Here is my report:

Great vibes overall. The students seemed so happy (a stark contrast to my NYITCOM interview where the students in the breakout were literally bashing the school the entire time) and loved being students at PCOM. They felt very supported by the school. Great diversity and representation among the people I interacted with, which made me feel awesome!

The interview itself is 30 mins with a panel of interviewers (2-3). Completely blinded to everything but my name. In the morning info session, they said that there would NOT be time at the end of the interview to ask questions so use your questions on the students earlier on. They said the committee meets weekly to decide who to accept and that everyone who interviews is guaranteed a decision within 6 weeks.

Ah not to whine but I’m getting the impression that their system registering committee letters as 1 letter/delaying completion is really going to impact those of us who used committee letters.. i hope I’m wrong

Maybe not! All my letters were individual. Status has not budged one bit lol

I spoke with an admissions counselor who unfortunately confirmed this. Despite submitting Monday, August 8th, my application wasn't considered complete until Monday, September 12th, which is the day that I called them regarding their committee letter error. Five whole weeks 🙁

i submitted initially around the same time, this is inexcusable on their end. This could have actual implications on our chances. What was the point of paying them a supplemental fee, because hypothetically they never would’ve reviewed our applications if we hadn’t reached out.

"because hypothetically they never would’ve reviewed our applications if we hadn’t reached out."

That's the scary part. I'm with you all, was finally labelled complete on Sept 12 after submitting Aug 08. I emailed them on Sept 9 regarding the issue. I would hope PCOM placed a special note on our apps regarding the error in the system.

Hey everyone, just wanted to chime in. When I spoke to the admissions office about the letter packet issue causing delays, she said there was no need to worry. Once you are marked fully complete you're in the pool of apps to review and you being "officially" marked complete later because of the letter issue will not negatively impact your chances

Congrats on getting one step closer! Sending you good vibes.
My interview is around the corner and I'm still very anxious about it.
Would you say those 30 minutes of the interview were very formal discussions or were they a bit more conversational?

Is this the Philly campus? Also, any chance you asked or they mentioned anything about the dark blue dominoes pizza tracker bars (lmao)

If felt really formal. It was hard to weave in stories into my answers and I finished early. That does make me nervous but I think a lack of questions at the end and it being not conversational is what speed up the interview.

Is this happening to anyone else: I also had the packet issue, emailed them on 9/12, heard back on 9/13 that it's resolved, but every time I log into the portal to check how many dark blue/light blue bars I have, under my application materials>references checklist, the "received on" date keeps updating to the current date. My neurotocisim is getting the best of me in thinking my app keeps getting refreshed every time I log in and check.

Hey there, same thing for me. Like I just logged in today and it says letters received 9/26/22 even though they were received a month ago. I think you’re right— maybe the dates received just update every time we log in?

+1 the dates are appearing as 9/26 but I know they were marked received in my previous logins!
