Can anyone who was accepted in November share how many days after their phone call they received the official letter in the mail please?

Alright, what do we think? Given that no one posted an A today, are we assuming this wave is over??

Does anyone have experience with sending a LOI here? It’s my absolute top choice school and has been since my interview in late October. Is it better to send now or wait until I get an admissions decision and send if WL?

I sent one after interviewing in early Oct and havent heard back still. I think if you send it pre-Feb/March it should be framed as an update while expressing your interest. If you get the waitlist in march, then I think it would be most helpful to send LOI

Thank you! I was kind of thinking something similar, my thinking is that to send an LOI before getting a decision it should probably be closer to the actual interview and it might be a bit late right now. Wishing you best of luck!!

I sent one and got the A, but it also had some updates. I don’t think there’s necessarily a right way to do it, but yeah if it’s your top choice I’d probably tell them that earlier rather than later

Pre-II R today, after the admissions officer told me to apply, sent me an email directly to encourage me to submit my secondary and waived my secondary fee. Sigh. You really never know. Good luck to everyone!

Any current students on here that could give advice about the culture? I am trying to decide between two mstp interviews on the same date that I can't reschedule, and it can be hard to get an accurate feel for how collaborative a school is online.

I think a nice way to do it would be to bundle your interest in the school with a tangible application update that they can add to your file. That way your letter serves two purposes

I’m a current student. I love the culture here at Pritzker. The curriculum is designed to encourage collaboration over competition, and I can honestly say that I have not felt stressed about comparing myself to anyone else (unlike undergrad). Pritzker does a great job at choosing students who are genuinely nice and caring people!

@ people who have interviewed already: about how many people do they interview per interview day? (assuming it stays relatively consistent) And do they tell you the names of your interviewers in advance?

Haven't interviewed yet, but you do get the names of the people interviewing you in advance! I interview this week, but when I looked in my portal on Friday I saw the names of my 3 interviewers.

You get the names of your interviewers in advance, and at least for MSTP I had 15 people inc. myself on my interview day

i believe there was around 20 people the day of my interview. You also get the name of your interviewers in advance in your portal in the interview tab

Interviewed in August and didn't hear anything in December or today...looks like no A for me 🥲

Any thoughts on if there could be another small A wave next week thursday/friday or was that it for the January A wave (dribble)?

Posting very late. Got the A call last Friday. Interviewed in December. LM = 74. URM. This is my number one choice for sure and I feel so blessed to be in this position.

I interviewed back in august and was admitted in November. It was my first interview and I thought it was pretty sloppy, I felt like I wasn’t bringing my best self, and one of them ended in only 20 minutes don’t lose hope!!

Feeling a little sad about the lack of communication since my interview. :/ I love this school so much but I’m thinking there’s a WL/R coming my way.

should be around 2/23 give or take a day. Also when I interviewed (recently) they told us results should definitely be out by the end of February

They're responding to you. That's pretty much it. Don't read into it too much/worry. They're probably too busy to respond quickly.

It is a sign that they liked you, but there have been many people who have been told “I’ll see you in august” by interviewers and then didn’t get A’s. Only time will tell but I truly hope you get the A!

Every school has these kinds of stories, no point trying to read into their comments since it won’t affect the outcome anyway. Just chill until decisions come out
