My interview day was only 12, which seemed super small

sorry 217 interviews.

there was 25 people in the august interview and the rest of them ranged from 12-16 I'm thinking sooo roughly 210-220 interviews total for 60 very very very very very selective seats

I also interviewed 11/3 and just got an email about tours about 10 minutes ago
 
@wantstobeaphysician Hmm…I didn’t ask so I’m not sure. Have you interviewed? If so, it may be just a matter of time until you receive an acceptance. Kinda sucks that we can’t send a letter update. I really have a lot to say lol


I also contacted the school and I was told if we were not released we are still being considered and in the queue 😳


Seems like they have sent preinterview/post-secondary rejections just as others have.

Yes I interviewed. Did anyone get rejection letters after they interviewed ?

Most Texas state schools dont reject after an interview until post match. It was done by UTMB recently but a very limited number and it may not be a standard process but exceptions.

You can check last years thread but I dont believe UH rejected any even after match period for interviewed candidates.

So if we haven’t received a post secondary rejection could we still receive one or they have sent those out?

Seems like it may be an ongoing process.


Not sure if anyone has received a post secondary rejection but the woman I spoke to stated that if we haven’t received one, we are still being considered or in the queue of being reviewed.


Seems like it may be a while considering holidays and the long wait between secondaries and interviews for some? I’m very aware of the fact that it varies but still lol 😞😭

It’s good to know that they at least send out post-secondary rejections 😭
 
All schools have to send out rejections at some point to those that did not receive interviews. UTMB released a bunch last week while keeping a few still on file as future interview candidates.

UH will send out letters once all their interview dates have been filled.

This has been asked by many applicants and they have all been told no letter updates. Besides, U of H hasn't even sent out any acceptances at this point, to my knowledge, so it's too early to be sending a letter of intent.
 
Obviously receiving a tour invite is not a good indicator or really any indicator at all, but I’m curious, has everyone who interviewed been receiving tour invites or are some people not receiving the tour invite? Just curious
