Anyone gotten response after writing thank you email after interview?
Or anyone got emails from their interviewers?
You usually won't get a response, so don't feel left out.
Where would it all end?
Thank you note >>>Thank you for the Thank you note >>> Thank you for thanking me for my thank you note...

Huh that's odd, I don't know why it would be that way. When I chose the date, it said October 17~ 10 slots available, so I chose that earliest date. There was an option for November, December, and into 2024 too, and those weren't full yet either. One or two of the later dates, I think December, said only 1 slot remaining, which also seemed unusual.
kinda annoying lol i got an interview invite so soon and people getting invites now are interviewing sooner... I'm happy for yall truly!! just a little anxious that my interview was given for so late and ill lose an opportunity for a great school due to weird scheduling

Also waitlisted, interviewed 9/19. My GPA is on the lower end of what they typically accept, so I'm not super surprised. But hey, at least it's not a rejection!

Just a little pro tip for yall.

Please dont go onto social media, search for current students, and then reach out to their private accounts asking for interview information.

lol sounds like they are preparing for an MMI ethical interview style by not being ethical haha

For those with A, many congrats!
Just wondering if all of you had a change on the portal before you got the actual email?

I think some people who have posted did have a portal change before email. I had logged into my portal the morning of my A (maybe like 2 hours prior to receiving the A email) and hadn’t seen a change at all.

For those that have gone to the meet and greet the night before the interview - what did you wear and what was it like?

when I went there, there were all types. There were people wearing suits, a white button shirt with a tie and suit pants. I wore a button shirt with pants. Don't wear jeans. Overall, semi-formal fit.

Considering going to the open house in December. But I also want to minimize flights and costs. I was debating going out in the late spring for a campus tour and then finding housing at the same time. What is everyone else doing?

I scheduled a campus tour for next month to do all that, I want a good idea where I want to go well before the deposit deadline December 14th

Any more people heard decision from interview last week? I interviewed last week by heard nothing yet. Should I be worried?

I had put down that I did not have a preference for the campus because I'd rather be in the running for both campuses than none ultimately. However, is it worth emailing to ask to be considered for KC only? Anyone have experience emailing admissions to get a change and have it go their way (or vice versa)?

Hey for people who were waitlisted did your workday change? I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Hi Yall just got a II today from KCUCOM do they to virtual or in person interviewers only and realistically is it too late for an II or do I still have a good chance at getting in?

"The first review of your application did not result in an interview invitation. The application cycle continues throughout the year, so your application will be reviewed periodically." Is this a nice rejection or a hold?
it's a hold & you'll be considered again for interviews

Ya'll I literally interviewed yesterday and I just got an OOS acceptance for the KC campus (I put no campus preference on the primary)

I'm grateful that they seemed to like me and I'm excited to learn more about them!

Congratulations, that is amazing!! You will be a great doctor. If you don't mind me asking, did you get a link to the portal before the decision?

Thank you! It really is an honor to be considered.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by link to the portal? In my email, I haven't gotten anything from KCU except for the post-interview survey and admissions decision.

WL today, interviewed 9/26. Thought the interview went very well, assuming my stats probably is what made the final decision unfortunately. Hopefully they have some WL movement

Sorry im sure this has been asked before but do pre-ii hold/waitlist applicants see a lot of movement, or basically a soft r?

Rejected PRE SECONDARY! - thought it was kind of funny bc two of my LORs attended.
