Any interviews from here as of now?

If I selected no preference for the campus location, would I still need to explain that option, or can I just put N/A in the box?
you should be aware when you select a location that federal loans are available at the New Mexico campus, but not at the Florida campus.
The interest rates for private loans are substantially higher, and also do not allow you to delay starting to make payments until after graduation.

Is this the case for all private loans?

Federally subsidized student loans have the special condition that they are meant for full time students, and they know the students will need to put off repayment until finishing their degree.
With unsubsidized federal student loans, you can postpone repaying the principal, but you start making interest payments right away.
Consumer loans or private loans most often require paying interest right away and beginning to pay off the principal.

That's as much of a finance lesson as I am willing to give.
Any loan is a major contract that you will be signing, and before signing it, fully understand all the rates, dates, and repayment timetables.

This year while waiting to hear from schools is a good time to educate yourself.

I heard interview invites start in September, with the first interviews occurring in October

Hows it like in Melbourne? hows the facilities and quality of life?
Coming from a very large city I would describe Melbourne as more of a quiet beach town. There is some night life, the food is pretty good, housing is affordable, and if you love the beach you would never be bored. There is ample commercially recognized chains of gyms, food, etc. in the area so adjusting with that was easy. Considering how busy we are as medical students, I would say the area provides more than enough for me to do in my free time. Plus, and I have already done it a few times, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville are all a short drive away (within 3 hours or less).

We are located on FIT's campus and have access to virtually all of their facilities for research, gym, intramurals, library, etc. This is in addition to the medical school's resources itself. Everything we could need is here and being a new campus all of the facilities at the school are brand new. Between helpful faculty, dress code regulations (lack thereof to be specific), teaching methods, and attendance policies, I think the quality of life here and with Burrell as a whole is pretty great. Being a new campus not every detail is worked out, but I generally am pretty happy with my experience thus far.

Such a great response, thank you so much.

We will begin sending out interview invitations for the 2025 cycle this week. If you have completed your Supplemental Application and don't receive an invitation, please keep in mind we will continue to send out invitations throughout the fall and spring semesters. We anticipate conducting interviews from October 2024 to May 2025.

I've heard all of your classes online like zoom from the NM campus, is that true?

Out of curiosity, do you get interviewed by either campus even if you set your preference for one or the other?

Here’s what my II email said about this:

“Applicants may be considered for admission to either campus regardless of interview type or location.

Although preference for location is not guaranteed our office aims to align offers of admissions with the preference expressed.”

Hi everyone. I just got an interview invite and signed up for it. I haven't seen many other on here talking about interview experience. Not sure if they have an NDA or anything (have not seen one yet). If you have interviewed with them this cycle or in the past, any advice?

Sorry just saw this, partially true. All large lectures are shared between campuses via Zoom. The classrooms are set up to stream lectures across both campuses with cameras and microphones. However, some lectures are based out of FL, and some are NM. It all depends on what faculty member is lecturing that day! I hope that helps!

Is it to late to submit to Burrell? I received my secondary a month ago but because of unforeseen circumstances I had to take a break from applying.
