Just called and talked to Katie from admissions and they said they haven't started evaluating waitlist spots and plan to do so in the next couple weeks, so there should be more movement in the next couple weeks.
does anyone know how many people are waitlisted for LDP? and how many they typically take off the waitlist?

Did she mention anything about those pending a decision? I interviewed a while back and still no decision. It’s been silent from them besides a text asking if I’m still interested which I thought was odd considering I’m not even waitlisted.

She didn't b/c I asked about the waitlist. I'd just call LECOM admissions and ask about your position.

I have not heard a single thing after the interview, submitted a letter of intent and update after and received nothing

Did they reach out letting you know they received your letter and it’s been added to your file?

They did that for my letter of intent back in March but not on my update letter. I saw on my portal that when I pressed the search button in the cases tab, it was added but closed.

Did anyone’s status bar disappear from the portal? Mine just says start a new application now. I was still pending decision before this happened.

No clue what that means for my application and I’m kinda freaking out now lool. I guess I’ll call them tomorrow to see what’s up.

does the portal change status to wl for those on the wl? or just an email with a decision letter?

Same thing happened to me, lmk what they say when you reach out. Interviewed in October and didnt hear anything since then.

I got this I'm on the alternate list still.

"Thank you for reaching out. Currently, we expect movement on the wait list and alternate list to begin ramping up as we have seen that trend in the past at this point of the cycle. "

Did you email them? Or they sent you this randomly?

If anyone is currently at Laurel Springs or Laurel Ridge, please send me a message. Got some questions!

SAME!!! Exactly 6 months at this point waiting with absolutely no more updates besides "are you still interested in being on the waitlist?" dying internally smh... hopefully news to come soon
I can't imagine how you feel. I interviewed back in March, and haven't heard a single thing. Hoping this isn't a soft R.

should i start re-apply while on the wl? I'm afraid this action would decrease my chance of getting off wl, any thoughts?

You can apply to other schools, I would just wait on LECOM till after July. If you get in, you can just withdraw ur apps from the schools you applied to. Basically, you'd just be losing ur application money.

Just submit primary now, apply to others, or and add schools later. I mean the DO application doesn’t take long to process anyways unlike AMACAS. I’m retaking mcat on July 12th and my primaries are already finished up. You can always prewrite to be ready to submit secondaries late July or early August. Plus at some point I need a reasonable amount of time to transition being a non-trad student with financial circumstances make moving harder on short notice and sometimes financially irresponsible being a home owner.
