So has anyone that got an II last Friday (10/11) got a confirmation email with the date o their interview. They send they would send one shortly but its been almost a week and my preferred interview time is tomorrow.

For anyone that already interviewed, did it take this long for y'all as well to get the interview scheduling email from UMiami?

It seems that they’ll let you know a day or two before your interview. They just called me asking if I could do mine tomorrow (and they said that they had me scheduled for 10/21). So seems that they will reach out.
 
hey i was wondering if anyone's in the same situation as me in terms of the application portal. i submitted my secondary on 08/24 and i remember a lot of applicants got an email shortly after with an invitation to upload updates and a headshot. i initially thought i didn't receive it because i submitted my secondary in late august, but i still haven't received that email as of today. does that email foreshadow an interview invite? or have any of you guys received an II without that email? feeling so stuck right now. 😭

I never got an email asking me to do that and i got an II 🤷
 
where on the portal do accepted students pay the $100 deposit?
 
What are the odds Miami contacts me over the weekend about this coming Monday as an interview date? The other ones I ranked have passed already. Should I call before the work day ends today?

Lol me and you are really in the same boat with this interview lol. If you do call, do you think you can let me know what they say? I emailed them yesterday at 12pm for an update and didn't get a response yet about an interview date.

Just got an email confirming monday literally as i sat down to call them
 
I just realized they scheduled me for an interview after 4 even tho i responded no to that option. Luckily i bartend at 6 instead of 3 that day. Rly almost gave me a heart attack at the club. Freaks.

Miami has trolled us so much the last week. I don't get why this scheduling came down to the absolute last minute since they offered dates that included all of last week. Its just really baffled me. Good luck on your interview though! I'm guessing we'll both be in the same welcoming Dean's presentation lol.

Looking at the past messages in this thread, should we expect them to email us to confirm our interview time anytime soon? I ranked this Friday last so I hope they don't surprise schedule me for it the night before lol
 
the website says they accept update letters on the applicant gateway, but I remember the email a while ago said something like don't upload docs unless we ask, is it okay to load an update letter/have other people done this?

seems like now, post-II, we can upload update letters. for something like the photo tho, it says only if asked

We can upload up to 3 update letters throughout the cycle. Photographs are for interviewees only
 
I got the email a while ago saying that we can upload update letters into the portal. However, my portal doesn't appear to have an area where we can submit updates or upload documents? I emailed them, but they have yet to respond.
Am I just not seeing the upload area or is something wrong with my portal?

my email does not have a link
It just says "I hope this letter finds you well. The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine accepts update letters and documents submitted only via the applicant gateway in your application. At this time, the document collection feature is available to you in the gateway. This area allows you to submit up to three update letters during the cycle and provides you with pertinent instruction regarding updates ... You should have received an email from the system notifying you that this supplemental area is available in your gateway"
I don't think I ever got an email from gateway about the document upload area.

That's odd. The email I'm referring to says something like we invite you to take the next step " it came as a different email. Maybe it went to your junk

yeah I got that email with the link for my secondary application, but not for the document upload area. I checked my inbox, junk, and trash and it is not there. I will probably email Umiami again if they don't respond
 
oh wait I actually just clicked the link for the email they sent me to the Applicant Gateway for the secondary and found the document upload area. I guess I was looking at the status portal before. Thank you for your help!
 
anyone have insight into how long md/masters decisions take? i know they said longer than the typical 3-4 weeks of the regular md but im curious if anyone's heard or noticed a more specific length like 5-6 weeks or 12 or 1.5 billion
 
Anyone else interviewing tomorrow, Monday 28th, Friday 1st, or Monday 4th here back about their scheduled interview slot?
