anyone going to the in-person accepted student day in november?

I am going to pull my WL as I was accepted elsewhere. Goodluck

And to future applicants, not all interviews here are relaxed with no questions like most people got, I got drilled during mine with probably 10 questions. So keep that in mind and prep accordingly.

Interviewed 10/16 - waitlisted today. Someone was saying there was a lot of WL movement at Noorda last year?

From what I’ve heard and seen, if you get WL rn, it’s quite likely to get off of it and get the A, especially as we get closer to December. People will drop their A here at Noorda and go somewhere else which will allow WL to move a lot!

Yeah I wonder if the only people who posted on here are the ones who got accepted? Either way we are still early in the cycle and I am grateful to have even received a WL! Especially considering my not-so-great stats. Lol

Does anyone know how 3rd and 4th years work? Do most students stay in Utah their 3rd year and go anywhere their 4th year?

I can’t speak as to how many stay nearby but I do from speaking to 3rd and 4th years that students are able to do rotations in out around Provo. Some rotations are even set up in Salt Lake City (about 45 minutes away). There are also people who go far (sometimes close to home) to do rotations and admin will help to facilitate that

Did anyone get an email like this?

“Noorda-COM Secondary Application High Interest

…We are committed to providing every opportunity for you to interview and become part of our vibrant community. We eagerly await your secondary application! To ensure you don’t miss out, we recommend submitting it as soon as possible “

Not sure if they are truly interested or if everyone who didn’t submit their secondary gets this.

Waitlisted after 9/19 interview and trying to stay positive! any advice?
From last cycle, I’ve heard there’s quite a bit of waitlist movement especially this early on. A lot of people will give up their A here and go elsewhere which will allow waitlist movement

Does anyone know what I should expect during an interview?

Do y'all know also when they will start offering federal loans?

it was very laid back and clear that they’re honestly just trying to get to know you. it was my first interview, but the nerves went away when i realized how welcoming everyone was! be yourself and you’ll do just fine. good luck! 🙂
