Honestly depends on your stats tbh (also depends on if you are coming off a hold or not). You’ll prolly get an interview but it looks like the school has been prioritizing students with higher MCAT scores both of the WL and for spots that are still not filled. If you don’t mind potentially being on the WL before getting a spot it might be worth it.

PS: Randle was balling last night! Hope the Wolves win this series in 5 or 6 cuz I’d love to see Wolves-Nuggets Round 3!

Alright. My MCAT is on the lower side (502) and I don't mind being on the WL (I'm currently on the WL for ACOM and I'm just anxiously waiting to hear back).

Yeah Randle was phenomenal and helped steer the ship. Ugly win overall but I'm hoping Minnesota's shooting woes resolve and Ant plays like how he did in the 2nd half last night.

I believe ACOM hasn’t even filled yet so if you send them a LOI (letter of intent) they’ll be very receptive towards you. (They’re still sending out interviews to people who didn’t even get selected for secondaries)! Your MCAT is def good enough for Noorda tho.

And yeah if second half AntMan keeps showing up they can wrap this series up before Steph gets back.
 
Do any upperclassmen on here know the earliest time when students can take COMLEX and Step at Noorda? (Aka assuming we pass COMSAE early can we go ahead and knock out COMLEX/Step in March, April or May)?

They make accommodations for hpsp students to take boards a little early so they can attend their bootcamps and stuff that summer. Otherwise boards are taken mostly June/july. If a student wanted to take it early I’m assuming they’ll work with you, but you might need a valid reason, not just want more vacay time haha. The rotation schedule is set so I don’t think they’ll let you start rotations early.

Good questions tho! I’d reach out to admissions to get you connected with learning services to see if that is a realistic option.

I know a bunch of got of the WL last Thursday so hopefully the next set get off tomorrow as well. Think this cycle is going to be a little more slow as Noorda is running thru the middle of June for applications.

“The 2024-2025 AACOMAS application cycle has been extended and will now close on June 13, 2025. Applicants should still adhere to each COM’s published deadlines, but please note that some schools may choose to extend their deadlines this cycle. All deadline changes will be reflected in AACOMAS. It is our intention and belief that this cycle extension will better accommodate applicants whose plans may change during the application cycle.

If you have already submitted an application this cycle, your application will remain active until June 13, 2025. You do not need to reapply to any schools that have extended their deadline this cycle.”

Yeah if you check Noorda’s IG and on their Admissions stories list they’re still actively recruiting students so WL movement might be slower this year but should still happen as a bunch of students have dropped due to no federal loan availability. (I truly respect them so much for straight up telling prospective students it’s not happening till 2027-2028 at the latest and not stringing it along)
 
Got my acceptance email!! LETS GOOO. Email was sent at 6:45pm CST. Interview 3/5 and WL 3/13. For those on the WL, don’t lose hope. You got this!

OOS II today. Can’t believe I’m a statistic getting an interview this late into the cycle but I’m not complaining 😂😂
 
wonder if the only reason we got a WL wave on Weds last week was bc of the impending Memorial Day break. hopefully we get a another wave tmrw! 🤞

From looking at a bunch of Reddit threads, it seems like the class isn’t full yet. So they maybe waiting for the extended primary deadline?
 
6/4/25 IS WL (found out after going through this thread for the 50th time, this time looking to see if Wednesday was the normal date for updates so on 6/5/25 at ~3:30 AM MST I checked my portal LOL - I didn't get an e-mail yet)

Interview Invite 5/22/25 (Interviewed on 5/29/25); Secondary Invite 4/22/25 (Submitted 4/29/25); Primary Submitted 3/25/25 (I messed up linking my MCAT to AACOMAS and it was only discovered my app was in limbo when I called in on 4/14/25)

Long story short: I messed up and thought that my 7/29/22 MCAT was eligible for the '25-'26 cycle. Found out in early March so I got everything together to apply. This is the only school I applied to and I'm hoping for the best. Glad to join y'all on this crazy journey.

Congratulations! Since they told us last Thursday that the class is full, we just gotta wait for normal WL movment and hope for the best. I hope we and the others already on the WL get our chance! And yeah, there is supposed to be an e-mail but maybe the system is out of sync with automated e-mails due to the extended cycle? No clue, haha.
 
Update! I'm a goofy goober: 2 minutes after posting, an automated e-mail at 9 AM MST about the WL was sent out, haha.

They had on the calendar two options for me, the other being 6/12/25 (the day before the new extended deadline). That one was still available after my interview, but with my portal update I no longer have access to the interview calendar. I'm unsure what they will do if someone sends them an application on 6/13... my gut reaction *was* they wouldn't interview but with how late my own application was, who knows? I read on Reddit that Noorda went through their entire WL last cycle... *crosses fingers* We've got this! Also, nice to officially e-meet you. I've been lurking here since March, haha.

Thank you! Congrats to you too! I did end up getting the email around the same time as you too. Sending all the best, positive vibes to us all! I hope we hear back soon about any movement. I’ll keep everyone posted on my status because it’s so tough to be waiting at this point in the cycle. I’m so proud of us. Stay strong everyone on the waitlist!

For me, that tells me that at least statistically they feel like there will be enough WL movement to justify one more interview round (yeah, maybe 2). As I'm a research nerd, assuming those motives gives me a non unreal expectation that this is possible for us. 😀 I'm rooting for you (and, of course, myself) and hope the cards align that I can meet you on campus in-person.
 
Just received my acceptance via phone call and email today! Interviewed on 5/29, Accepted Pending Seat on 06/04, Full Acceptance on 06/09 (today)! I will be 100% matriculating here (going to head home and take care of all paperwork and deposits) and would appreciate it if someone could send me the link to the GroupMe!
