Hoping it is tomorrow, interviewed mid-November have yet to hear anything
Hopefully. Last year the October and early November applicants seemed to start getting answers on 12/20 and 12/21. I fall into that group so fingers crossed!!

Honestly we have no way of knowing. My comments above are just speculation based on last years timeline…I’m guessing we will find out sooner than later 🙂

Admit.org says that 345 applicants get interviewed and then 172 get accepted (~50%).
I don’t think mine is, would you mind sharing a screenshot of what it looks like in your portal? And no worries at all

Okay yes that is really weird I would keep trying admissions. They never answer the admissions phone tho for whatever reason 😭

My status shows as “submitted” and has stayed like that after I submitted my secondary and I’ve also already interviewed dont know that if helps!

I would just keep on trying to contact them. Both my Fall 2025 MD and DO applications said submitted even post-interview, but I recently withdrew my DO acceptance and now it says withdrawn. I think it might just be an administration error so don't worry, NSU tends to have these kind of issues all the time LOL
It’s not over til it’s over!! It’s most likely an error on their end. I did hear a rumor that whoever they don’t accept, they waitlist so that might be one thing. Also, did anyone feel like they did not do the best on their MMIs and don’t like their chances of acceptance here?
Yeah this was my first interview and the MMI format was definitely not something I feel I did the best on. Which is a bummer because I’m super local and being able to go to school by family is super important to me.
Yeah my NSU DO (accepted) says “Complete” as does my NSU MD (interviewed). They’ve both said that since I submitted my secondaries. Definitely very odd for @doctorellewoods

I'm sure they still have IIs to send out. They haven't released any acceptances for this cycle yet and to my anecdotal understanding, they end up having a cycle that runs later than most schools.
Why is the cycle so late this year? Last year, decisions came out December 20

No idea tbh, but I don't think they're that much later this year. Those December 20 decisions were probably the first batch of acceptances, which were sent right before the holiday break of 2 weeks. That might make it seem like they're later than usual this year. I do know that they've made some changes in admissions by (potentially) eliminating the Pathway Prep stuff they had ongoing last year, so who knows. I say potentially because I feel like I remember someone saying that they called and NSU MD said they might do those in Spring or something?
Current M1 here, most of our class was accepted in spring, so try not to worry too much!
Does anyone know if NSU MD accepts update letters?

On my interview day, they said that they don't accept any letters unless you've been waitlisted
Would an LOI be considered an update letter?

I don’t think anyone has heard back. Early November interview and nothing.
Nothing on cycle track, admit, Reddit, or SDN. I’m gonna say that those four combined are a good enough sample size to encompass somebody who would’ve heard back if they sent anything out.

This school is among the most violent offenders in the “secondary app cash-grab” where once it’s submitted and your credit card charge clears… you get dead silence. Can’t reach them by phone or email. No actual (update) portal or way to even know what they have on their end… well, apart from your money of course. Absolutely sickening.

Other than the Gateway thing that shows you the secondary application? That’s all I ever saw except for a payment link that came after.

Yep. The ellucian site. Try to login to the graduate applications via the main nova website and you’ll find it. It’s the same main portal for NSU DO

I know about that portal only because I used it to apply to NSU's DO program as well.
However, I just logged in and it doesn't really show status or anything (it only shows "completed"), but that is the same to for the DO app too (even though I already have an acceptance to that program) so clearly it does not work as a true status tracker.

Once you get an interview invite you get an email saying you have to go onto this site to do some pre-interview tasks like complete a form and upload a photo. I also just saw this when checking on my NSU DO application, which does directly refer you to that link. NSU uses that website for all their applications, including for undergraduate admissions.

Yeah, same here in regards to the status tracking. It only updated after I withdrew my acceptance to NSU DO so honestly to anyone concerned about not being able to find this portal, you're not missing out on anything. Just gonna have to sit tight and wait for an email from them directly :/
