I was WL and got both emails and still radio silence. Last cycle I applied they let us know on July 3rd.

I move across the country for another school Monday midday … time is running out.

I’m curious what decisions are still being made for them to not reject anyone yet. Curious as to why there hasn’t been any communication in the last two week.

I emailed requesting to withdraw last night since I am now committed to another school and they responded early this morning. They have people monitoring the emails and are CHOOSING to ignore us. They are a mess, I hope for everyone’s sake that the med school staff & faculty aren’t as unorganized as their admissions team. Best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear from them!

Withdrew from the waitlist after interviewing in October and getting the email asking about my continued interest and being led on[emoji24]

The probability want a plan B for any students who might withdraw unexpectedly

i was thinking the same. i wish they would at least let us know we are in that "list" rather than keep us in the dark.

Well…I now have my white coat from another school.

To any 2025-2026 cycle applicants I highly advise you read all 16 pages of this SDN thread before considering to apply - especially if you happen to get an interview. Being ghosted by a school that interviewed you very early on is not it.
