Just curious if anybody who received a Pre II R submitted a secondary after Sep 1? I submitted my app kind of late in the cycle, and although I was relieved to survive the Jan 7 wave, part of me is wondering if it's because they haven't even seen my app yet lol

I submitted my secondary 8/30 and got the complete email on 9/1. Still haven’t received a pre-II rejection or an II 🤷🏻‍♀️

😅 I’m sure that provides zero clarity……good luck!

Does anyone know if there interview day is just the interview. I don’t see a dean meet and greet or presentation, can someone please help

IIRC there were some informational things that got sent in an email, but my interview day was basically just the interview itself (did not start, or end, on time FWIW).

Then a couple of days later I met with a student for a student interview. It was less structured, overall, than a lot of other interview days I've been a part of

Can anyone please clarify what the timeline of events here is? My interview is scheduled. Is that just the faculty interview? How long is that meant to be? And then are we meant to expect an email from a student to schedule another interview?

That's the faculty interview. It's supposed to be like 60-ish minutes (mine went...longer).

A couple of days later I was sort contacted by a student and we set up a separate meeting. Very chill, informal.

Thank you!! Do they tell you who your interviewer is in advance?

I had my faculty interview 10/31 and my student interview 11/11 but radio silence from them since then. I know two waves of As have been sent since then so is it more likely to assume I'm either WL or post-II R? I already sent an update and LOI as well so idk what much I can do now 🙁

Almost same dates as you (a week earlier). Just sent my update and LOI this past weekend. Honestly I think there's probably going to be another big A wave in February. If not a WL wave. I don't think we're too far along in their cycle yet to draw the R conclusion.

For those who did the student interview, what did you wear? It doesn’t seem like full suit attire, but maybe more formal than a t-shirt or hoodie?

A winning smile and plenty of eye contact.

Jk, I played it safe and wore the same outfit as for all other interviews. It was less formal, to be sure, but discretion being the better part of valor I didn't want to tempt fate. YMMV

Just wore a nice shirt whereas for the real one wore a suit. The person interviewing me was completely casual. Dropped down from business attire during the real interview to business casual. i think that was reasonable.

I wore a regular T-shirt and literally did it on a bench at a park. It's purely casual.

Does anyone know what the alternate list is? I’m seeing it a lot on last year’s thread but I can’t tell if it just means waitlist

Do you guys still think there’s gonna be the typical bigger A wave in early February as typically is and as stated on the MD admissions timeline of their website? It seems like A’s are going out in every wave from a wide range of interview dates

I don’t think they send A’s out in order of interview date but probably in order of ranking. I think maybe there’ll be another small wave

I thought they don't accept interest letters before an II according to the website? That's what someone said previously

I'm feeling positive about tomorrow or this week bringing a potential A wave 🙂

If I recall correctly they did say in the info session in December that they would do a once a month decision release. I don’t know if that has changed, but hopefully mid February they’ll release more decisions. Maybe someone with a recent interview and info session might have more information?
