I got an II this morning! UCSD alumnus and in-state. Submitted 7/25, LM 81. Edit: also expressed interest in what seems to be the new Tan Family Scholar Program

Received II for the PRIME program yesterday (IS, submitted mid-July) but the earliest available interview date was not until 12/2024. Did other PRIME applicants experience the same?
Also does anyone know if there's a way to get an earlier interview date? For example, if someone has to reschedule their interview, is there a way to know that an interview slot is open sooner?

if you submitted within the 30 day window you're probably fine. otherwise idk

not sure if it's a strict deadline, but I would submit ASAP if you're almost done. If not, maybe focus on other secondaries and work on this in parallel

I got PRIME II a few weeks ago and the earliest date was in December! It seems like PRIME interviews are being scheduled a little farther out. Congrats on the II!!

Is hearing silence but submitting late july but also ... not getting a pre ii hold a good or bad thing 😭 not to be vulnerable but like dayum what if i sucked so bad they straight up put my app to the R pile that's why i haven't heard back 🥲💔 (omg pls no one hate on me ik no one has the answers n im speaking out loud and being vulnerable bc being a financially insecure premed in such a cryptic, unpredictable process is v tough)

So far no interview at all from any college. Anyone on the same boat. Freaking out.

It’s still early! Some people don’t get their first II until later in the calendar year, others don’t until winter or even spring.

This is just my 2 cents but I would at most be only cautiously hopeful.

From last cycle, I don’t recall many holds converting to II, and we also didn’t have any WLed convert to As.. It was a long and grueling cycle lol
