Hi all! VCUs website says the Feb decision date is today. I thought it was mid-Feb, does anyone remember? VCU deleted the interview presentation that they shared through the portal so I can't check there

Portal says Feb 3, which is a Monday/weekday like all the other admissions offer days, so I’m assuming this Monday will be the next day we can potentially find out. 🤞🏼

In reference to tomorrow's decision release - does everyone get the post II hold email and then either accepted/rejected that day, or are they pushed to the march date? Tweaking mediumly
Did they say in the info session if your group was included in this decision date? I interviewed 12/4 and they told us we could be accepted 12/16 and if not then we’d still be considered the rest of the dates.

Yes they said look towards the Feb 3 date and if not then the mid march date. I was confused looking back on the previous acceptance dates where some applicants said they received a hold email but also an acceptance later that day.
seems like almost everyone receives a post-ii hold email after interview. committee meets the monday after your interview (i pretty sure) and gives you a "score/ranking" and if you are high enough up on the ladder you will receive an A on one of the acceptance dates

Oh yeah last acceptance date in December someone got the hold email and then was accepted a few hours later. I myself didn't get accepted last time around but I’m hoping for tomorrow/March or for some luck on the waitlist

It sounds like if you have the hold then you’re up for acceptance tomorrow, best of luck!

me too :') i interviewed in september. hoping we both get in at some point this cycle!

Anyone who interviewed before today can get an A, hold email or not

+1 Hold email 🙁

Thought my interview went amazingly too… oh well. I guess it’s not a rejection.
Scroll up. A hold is good and means you could receive an acceptance on any of the following admissions days.

Edit: not everyone gets a hold. Very rarely, rejections are handed out post-interview instead of holds (from previous yearly threads).

I'm seeing that the cost of attendance for out-of-state students is pretty darn high—about 114k per year on average. Any thoughts on that figure? Has anybody received any scholarships or any current students have any thoughts about the cost of attending here?

Congrats on the A’s! See yall in Mid March for the next release date. Did anyone get accepted with a scholarship today? I know their website says they send with them sometimes.

I just got an acceptance email, and it's in my portal and all of that, but I just got the hold email earlier today?? Has that been anyone else's experience? Did I just get a fake acceptance due to some technical glitch?? Send help
