I would consider the 27th and on to be "towards the beginning of November." I don't think we'll hear back this week or next, though. Probably not until early November.

I'm in a similar position to you. Complete silence but I submitted on 07/21.

Sorry but what do you mean by legit feedback?
You mean you got 3 interview invites?

FWIW, during info session today they noted that as of 10/16 they've sent out 144 acceptances.

I saw another number quoted in this thread; no telling what's what but figured I'd share based on what the school shared

For those that have interviewed already, any pointers for someone having their interview in a few weeks?

How long after interviewing did y'all hear back regarding A, R, or waitlist?

Interviewed 10/7 — heard nothing and no email regarding review in November. Waiting stinks lol.

Most schools are going to take longer than 2 weeks, for sure. Many don't notify at all until February/March

No no I know. I’d rather wait longer and have a full consideration by the adcom — either way though waiting game is brutal

I interviewed last week! Have they said anything to you guys about a tour?
They've sent out a couple of emails, here and there, to schedule a tour. IIRC I think I've seen two of them.

Spots seem to be fairly limited and they fill up fairly quickly, from what I've observed.

Tours are intermittently sent via email, and for accepted folks there will be a second look in the spring according to the tour guides. The tour was only about an hour and a half so keep that in mind if you are deciding to come in from out of state.

Would you guys say it's a bad sign if you received a WL instead of this waiting to be reviewed until November email that people are getting?

It seems like only those of us who interviewed in August received this email. Not sure if it’s a good or bad thing though

I think it’s better than a waitlist because it could still result in a A. WL won’t move till spring

I feel like we’re being punished for interviewing early it doesn’t make any sense to me, unless they somehow offered early interviews for lower tier applicants which also wouldnt make sense

They interview a ton of folks, they probably just have other stuff going on (all the on-ramp webinars and on-site tours they send us lol). Either way, I feel relieved to have gotten the email that I am still under review. Keep your head up, Fiddlesticks!

Not sure that having to wait 12 weeks or so is quite equivalent to being punished, tbh

Head up soldier; unless you received an R the ball is still very much in the air

It’s more of mental torture lol I watched a vsauce video a week or two ago that said that the anticipation of pain can be worse than the pain itself, I hate getting constant reminders that my application is under review, just let me sit in forgetful ignorance until I wake up one morning and get an R or A, that would make me happier

I was complete 08/27. Still on radio silence. Started to lose hope

Not a current student but my student interviewer told me that was the grading system
Current M3. All courses are completely P/F here. You get numerical scores for your exams and you can honor the year during M1 and M2 and then individual clerkships during M3. But 100% P/F! Your transcript just shows satisfactory or unsatisfactory for each course

Do u recommend Wayne?

Recently interviewed. The entire experience was very comfortable and went smoothly. Everyone I spoke to was kind and conversational. I was so nervous beforehand but felt better as the interviews continued. No questions felt out of left field or like a test. Good luck you guys!

I'm a canadian applicant that submitted late (oct 21st). 3.89 gpa and 514 mcat. Do I have a chance at an ll at all or am I cooked?

I’ve seen some Canadians get A’s on this thread and your stats are above their averages. Always a chance! But that is a late submission date. They still have like 500 II’s to go before they’re done though. Rooting for you!

Ahhhhhh I hope so, thanks man

Any tips for MMI and how to best prepare?
I've been reading these

Open for the faculty. I forgot if the student one is.
no, the faculty interview is semi-blinded (they can't see grades), my interviewer told me she did not have access to my MCAT grades. The student on the other hand can only see your personal statement and activities. It's all listed on their website, I've attached a screenshot : ) hope this help! :giggle:

The faculty having grades might vary from interview to interview. My faculty interviewer knew my course grades, mentioning my A's in some courses but having a particular F in another, haha.

+1 jumpscare email (this is the 100th one). they def know what they're doing bc why does it say "we are thrilled to remind you"? It what other situation would a person be thrilled to REMIND someone about something? I understand we're getting closer to Halloween but this behavior needs to stop
