UC Davis Pre-Health Fair I think?what was it a reminder for?
UC Davis Pre-Health Fair I think?what was it a reminder for?
just complete them and not think about them againJust noticed a “Post Interview Survey” and “Video Release” in my portal under the interview tab. I have been checking my portal semi-regularly (maybe the last time I looked was ~1.5 weeks ago) and didn’t notice these before. I don’t have any record of an email saying to complete them after the interview or remember seeing it in the interview presentation. Being neurotic premed…is this counted against me/should I acknowledge it by an email to admissions or just complete them and not think about it again?
+1I didn't get any of these emails
Typically 4 to 6 weeksHow long until people that interviewed tend to head back about decisions? I recently interviewed and was hoping to have an idea of when to expect their decision
If you scroll thru the pages, there were a couple of CanadiansHave any Canadians received II yet? if so when did you apply?

wow thats a quick turnaround. Im glad for you. I finished 08/05 with a 511 MCAT but an abysmal science GPA (took all sciences in first two years which were also my bad academic years)Yeah. I received my II on 10/03, was complete 09/02.

It said “towards the beginning of November”… so does that mean it could come out before November? One more week 🙈
Don’t do that, don’t give me hope 😭One more week 🙈
For?One more week 🙈
Some August interviewers, including myself, got an email stating that we will receive application decisions “towards early November.”For?
Looking at last year's thread it took until November 11th to hear news after interviewing in late October, so about 2-3 weeksHow long until people that interviewed tend to hear back about decisions? I recently interviewed and was hoping to have an idea of when to expect their decision
I heard back pretty quickly. Interviewed on 9/27 and heard back 10/17.How long until people that interviewed tend to hear back about decisions? I recently interviewed and was hoping to have an idea of when to expect their decision
no. submitted secondaryYou interviewed on 08/05?
yeah but they never said anything about early november interview emails and also all the other dates from last years thread have been completely unpredictive of this years release schedule so im optimistic it will be before the 11thLooking at last year's thread it took until November 11th to hear news after interviewing in late October, so about 2-3 weeks
i dont inderstand this joke in the slightest ill be honestKid worked three 12-hr night shifts back-to-back-to back. Almost delivered a baby on the freeway morning-of, and slid into the interview with barely enough time to ditch his uniform and put his suit on. Did the whole thing caffed to the max on horchata lattes. He said the faculty interview went really well, the student interview he accidentally made the interviewer laugh so hard they had to stop for a few minutes, and the MMI he thought was only 6 out of 10. Not quite a bomb, but bomb adjacent?
So hey, if you need that extra oomph for your interviews, try amniotic fluid and horchata lattes.
applicant's parent bragging and trying too hard to be funny, don't worry about iti dont inderstand this joke in the slightest ill be honest
They have about 400-500 interview invites left.Does anyone have a guess as to how many other interview invites they will send out considering they've already sent out (at least) 940 on their website? Trying to gauge where I stand in terms of my chances as I sent submitted my secondary on 8/29
Thanks! Is this based on historical stats or did the school say this? They have about 400-500 interview invites left.
are you able to practice in Canada after completing DO in the US and do you have to write exams in Canada to do so?I’ve seen some Canadians get A’s on this thread and your stats are above their averages. Always a chance! But that is a late submission date. They still have like 500 II’s to go before they’re done though. Rooting for you!
Historical + they have a cycle tracker on their admissions page. The first message in this thread, with the secondary questions, has the link to it.Thanks! Is this based on historical stats or did the school say this?
Im not sure. But I’m sure that question has been answered before.are you able to practice in Canada after completing DO in the US and do you have to write exams in Canada to do so?

Practicing Medicine In Canada For American Doctors
Here's a big picture overview of how to practice medicine abroad in Canada. Our later posts detail province-specific information for Ontario, Britishwww.hippocraticadventures.com
Am just curious if they would even let a non-US resident get medical school admittance.it is as my family is there and I am not sure if I would be provided a green card to stay in the US
What about some love for candidates interviewing in November?Well, November is tomorrow. I hope those who did not receive decisions in mid-October and received the "still under review" email will have some good news in the next 7 days.
Their admissions team is in Davis this week for the pre health conference. Perhaps they will get to us early next week.I guess November 1 isn’t early November😔
It is pretty accurate, in my opinion. They haven’t sent an II or A’s recently so not much to update right now.Anyone know if the tracker is accurate? It's been the same for a while now, I wonder how outdated it is
prob like nov 5th at earliest, i doubt theyre doing anything monday morning if theyre travelingTheir admissions team is in Davis this week for the pre health conference. Perhaps they will get to us early next week.
