Hey y’all, I’m a rising MS2 and I wanted to post a great part-time opportunity to make some extra cash during your first year! I work at a local Spokane family restaurant as a server and am looking to hand over my position in August/September as I’ll be studying for STEP. If you’re interested, you’ll work two 5-hour shifts weekly— I thought this was manageable with the first year workload and the manager is flexible with clinical campus week/vacations as long as you communicate in advance. The pay is honestly pretty good (hourly minimum wage + non-taxed tips that range from like $20-$90 per shift). If you have restaurant experience/are interested in gaining some, please feel free to message me!
Also, for those on the waitlist, I know the wait is hard, but we are all rooting for you! I was 57-64 initially on the waitlist last year, and I got in on July 10. One of my friends got in a few days after me last year as well. Every cycle is different and is shaped by so many factors outside of your application itself so keep your head up! Getting this far is an accomplishment. Wishing you all the best!

i'm still hopeful to the very end :')
From the 2022 to 2023 thread, they rejected someone on the first day of school, rank 55. Given orientation is starting today, I'm gonna say the last one this time will have a starting rank of 45-ish.does anyone know if WSU accepts wait-listers in August? there was no data for August in the emails they sent.
thank u! that is actually where my starting rank was :')From the 2022 to 2023 thread, they rejected someone on the first day of school, rank 55. Given orientation is starting today, I'm gonna say the last one this time will have a starting rank of 45-ish.
