For this question on the secondary:

"Have you ever been subjected to any disciplinary actions by any college/university, been convicted of a misdemeanor and/or felony, or do you have any disciplinary or criminal charges pending against you?"

Are they including academic IA's? I had one many many years ago for unsatisfactory academic performance, (already disclosed on my primary) but have never had any conduct violations (academic conduct/cheating, no run-ins with campus police, etc) and have never had any run-ins with the law. (I've never even had a speeding ticket!)

Are there any current students from Quinnipiac who would be willing to answer a few questions this weekend :,) I had reached out to the admissions team for the contact info for any student ambassadors and was referred to SDN. I am super interested in learning more about the school from a student standpoint and would appreciate it so much! I had sent a message to another current student but it seemed like their account got deleted🙁

They only have one interview date open rn and I’m unable to do that date. Ik they said in the email that interview dates open up in batches as interviews are sent out. Do you all know if it’s okay for me to select a date after the 2 days since the email was sent? Attached the picture for why I’m worried.

I would probably email their admissions office as soon as possible and ask if you can schedule for the next interview day!

I was in the same boat, they said on the email to book an interview within like 24-48 hrs, I checked back on the portal the next morning and another date had opened.

did anyone receive an A from netter yet? it's my top choice and i haven't received a II but just wanted to see how their responses were going since im going crazy 😭

I was wondering if anyone can tell me of their interview format? I believe its two 30 min interviews, but is it one-on-one? mmi? traditional? conversational? do they grill you?
Very conversational (traditional one-on-one). The entire faculty was incredible; they genuinely care about you and want to get to know you.

It was probably the easiest interview I've ever done. SUPER chill faculty and student interviewers (you have one student interview and then a faculty interview). It is open file so they asked me questions about my activities but didn't grill me on anything.

One-on-one traditional/conversational interview. It was genuinely such an amazing experience, everyone was incredibly welcoming and truly cared about getting to know me and the other interviewees!

I didn't get my interviewers' emails, so I emailed John Gorlewski, thanked him for organizing the interview, and asked him to pass on my thanks to my interviewers (named them in the email). I briefly mentioned parts of our conversations and that I was thankful for the opportunity
That's smart I just emailed directly to admissions lol welp

How did you all prepare for the interviews? I have mine next week
Definitely do a quick run through of your primary and secondary apps, that’ll help you for sure. The interview is very conversational, they really do just want to get to know who you are as a person, and about your interests. Most of all, don’t stress too much! I was incredibly nervous going into my interview and within 2-3 minutes those nerves were gone. They create a very welcoming environment, which certainly helps.

thank you to everyone who has posted about their interview experience!! I have one upcoming and am def a little nervous, so if you all have any tips for how you prepared, I would love to know them! 🙂

OOS II today! Just wanted to ask what the acceptance rate post-interview is like. Also, since I will be interviewing early November will I receive a notification later that month?

It’s open file so I read my primary and secondary over. Practiced “tell me about yourself” and “why medicine” with a friend who’s also applying (I think they only asked me “tell me about yourself” but I forget). That’s about it for my prep. The rest of the interview was just so chill, they might ask some clarifying questions about your activities or whatever they find interesting. It was mainly conversational and they gave me plenty of time to ask any questions I had for them.

According to admit.org, it says 80% which is super high. I think they told us during interview day they send out decisions at the end of each month. So there’s probably a good chance you’ll hear back in Nov.
