Just FYI if you decided to lie about your role and/or intentionally withheld it to have Ziggy fake the green text yesterday, then this kind of thing has the tendency to backfire reaaaallll hard when one of you gets lynched.

What do you think qualifies as a world shaking revelation/something worth paying attention to?

This is the second time you've said something to this effect, and quite frankly, as someone who is actively trying to turn this game around from the edge of the cliff, it is borderline insulting 😛

So today is 11 people. If we assume that there are 3-5 wolves +/- a 3p, then today could be either

5:5:1 (not possible, game would already be over)

if we vote a villager off, it could be (10-->9 people)
5:5 (game over after lynch) (this is option 1/2 where we lose today/tonight)

So hey guys, world shaking revelation here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we lynch vmh, we make it to tomorrow based on every scenario I've thought of. It gives us a lot of information to work with, and I really recommend that we think about doing this, and going into tomorrow with that info and a better chance of lynching the correct unknown.

Maybe I’m just really freakin annoyed right now because of bs sports, and while this does make sense in a way, the time it took to do that math post and then come to this strikes me as maybe trying “too” hard. I dunno. Isn’t zig one of your wolf reads as it is? Would it not be better in your mind to lynch a “probably wolf” over a “probably 3p but maybe wolf?”

Sorry, I should probably step away from the computer for a few lol.

i think this makes sense for tomorrow. Today I think we have a slam dunk on ziggy. Take the low hanging fruit. Reduce wolf numbers. Get more info tomorrow with a vmh Lynch.

it’s not even anything you’ve said, it’s your odd role combined with the face you were seen with a person the night they died. I think I’d rather go for Zig all things considered but there’s just something odd about what’s been going on with you.

I did try hard on this post, and I am proud of what I found. It helps me understand where we are in the game and it makes me feel good about where to go from here. I am also interested in a ziggy lynch, and if it ends up between ziggy and a non-vmh person, then I will vote for ziggy, hands-down. If I can convince people to vote for vmh today, then I have done the math that we will live until tomorrow and we will be able to come at tomorrow with more information to make a strong decision. I don't necessarily have her as "probably 3p". I have her as "3p at best, decent chance she is a wolf, definitely not village." Plus, now Pippy has me paranoid about the cult/not counting for village thing and I want confirmation one way or another if possible.

If Ziggy is a wolf, where do you go next?
 
One potentially mechanically strong approach at this point could be to vote off vmh and ziggy in a tie. @ziggyandjazzy should be ok with it since she is so convinced Meats is a wolf.

Should probably actually do the math there but that's an option.

Unfortunately, I just got called in to work an overnight at large animal hospital the night before classes start back up, sooooo that mathematician will not be me.

However... I would be happy to be the person who refrains from voting if we have an odd number and need someone to promise to abstain to make sure the tie goes through. (Wolves would not dare waffle last minute if there is any chance of them needing to look good tomorrow, and Meats is already self-prez voting on ziggy, I believe.)

No chance of me trying to break that tie last minute, because Pippy knows better than to mess it up by pulling a Pippy. 😉

So what will this do to the math mpm? (Being serious, i just dont have the patience to go through it right now).

Do we know the tie rules? What if only the tie-maker dies? Interesting since youd like to be the one to not vote.

FWIW, @StartingoverVet owes me one from a previous wolf outing of his, and so despite some very suspicious tracking data, I cannot reconcile him sitting in wolf chat and agreeing to block me 4x in a row.

I also have a hard time believing Dina was ok with that, so tbh part of my "who's in the pack" thought process is boiling down to who would be anti-Pippy/anti-Dubz/harshly in-it-to-win-it enough to push that business over any dissenters. And that leaves me with a very limited subset of people.

On a somewhat related note, I also don't like voting for someone on the chance that mods outed a wolf accidentally by giving Mel watcher data instead of tracking data. Feels like cheating, and I'd rather even the score a bit by pretending that night result doesn't really exist.
 
I like the idea of attempting a tie again, but is there a chance that the mods get mad if we try to abuse mod bloodthirst and it backfires? I don’t want to lose pippy to rng since she’s protected from nk

Not sure; I am just operating under the assumption that ties kill both because that's what KD tends to like AND it would appear based on the 8:59pm flip last night that Ziggy is also concerned with both players dying.

If you want me to be the person to make the tie instead, I am willing to do that...but proceed at your own risk. I will take someone else out when I go down, and I make no guarantees about who that would be 😉

And tbh I am the most mechanically cleared villager still alive, so I should also be the most trustworthy to not waffle off(le) (or waffle on).

If we do decide to do some planned voting, then it needs to happen now. Like, everyone voting in the next 30 minutes at the latest.

Because...if it truly is the best option for village, then anyone who appears to be withholding their vote/not going along with the plan should get a big old WW stamped on their forehead. And we would need time to reconsider the choices for today if that appeared to be going on.

Last thing I'll say here is that there is an obvious risk that if Ziggy is village and Meats is 3rd party...then I thiiiiiink wolves will win the game with that tie.

But tbh I don't care at this point because I feel like I did my best and am going back to school tomorrow.
