Congrats! you're gonna love it! I interviewed with a researcher, someone on adcom, and a D.O., which I believe is the layout for everyone. The researcher didn't ask me much about wanting to be a D.O. she just wanted to know about me, my interest, and how I came about wanting to be a doctor. I panicked when I couldn't think of the name of the cyanobacteria I did research on but she reassured me I was doing ok and I later remembered it because I was able to relax. The Adcom person was very knowledgeable and also just wanted to get to know me. The D.O. was the best of all. It was very conversational, and he gave a scenario to see how I would respond but they were just medical ethics issues where there was no right answer only trying to see your thought process.
Overall, the most difficult question I was asked during my interview was "If you are not accepteded into medical school what's next?" I know the answer but it is just horrible to think of that possibility!
Unfortunately, I had to leave early and didn't not get to stay for Fin aid, Still Well presentation or tour. But everyone was very understanding. As for diversity for those that want to know. As an AA I felt very comfortable at the school and was welcomed like everyone else. Growing up in the city, the transformation to a small town where I can do fun things I never tried like hiking or taking a canoe trip will be different and exciting! I hope to get in
