Hmm okay, I’m not in agreement on it but I see the point behind your lynch, it was coming across more you were frustrated with acanth, not the fact that they had a sketchy role. I have had a lynch avoidance as a villager at least once and it just makes me more wary of voting for people with an outted ability like that.
But do we know it went through? IIRC paws couldn’t use her ability that night and people don’t get notifications for actions on them

No. there were extra kills in their previous dogs game if wolves could guess or knew what dog group people's breed was. I could see something similar here?? but idk it's just a guess and I'm not sure I have seen a lot of the same mechanics used. maybe they had a copy cat wolf or something who could take someone's role upon death? I really have no idea
