She was part of the genny bandwagon for little reason….she has a lot of posts that add little….played dumb about what an alpha wolf was. Nothing damning but together it is compelling.

Ps- couldn’t y’all pick a word to replace lynch that doesn’t autocorrect? I would have suggested launch. Close but different and not offensive. 😜

I have to go over Poppy interactions, but I just want to inform everyone that SOV errs towards bussing when he can. He truly believes power wolfing is deeply flawed. Unlikely to yeet him today since he just came back for the first time in years, but if the game seems stuck and he's inexplicably alive, please keep this in mind.

I did, yes, and to me that "small ping" seems sus. Tossed out a bunch of thoughts that generally followed the crowd, followed by perhaps an "oh I should probably mention some small sus on a fellow wolf".

I’m confused. Are you also wolfreading zenges and aprils?

I've been wolfreading Zenge (albeit not in the most thoughtful/logical way, just ~ bad vibez~) for a while. April feels good to me. Between alley and Zenge I want to see what alley has to say to defend herself (themself?) The chaotic PSV -> Nate voting late last night also didn't feel great.

I think AM is being a bit snarky and aggressive, but I think that every game, so biz as usual.
Pippy was a bit sensitive, but I also find that normal after modding.

Wow. Just caught up and a lot of action for first day. I want to re read the whole day because I think there is actionable stuff there, it have some morning activities. Will be back later.

My gut reactions for now (subject to change on re-reading).
Fern: either a really dumb villager or a wolf trying to kill off a power role. I mean, why would you take a chance of getting a power role lynched. That makes zero sense. When I have an inkling like that, I keep it to myself and pay careful attention to the play. Just SMH right now if village, definitely leaning wolf.

Nav: playing like an alpha wolf. Right off the bat was throwing a lot of non relevant issues out that just added confusion to a day one, then accuses a player maybe outed as a power role of breadcrumbing or whatvever, when pretty much everyone else (I think) read the mod rules the same way. Either NAV is getting a DocE complex or just stirring the pot as an alpha to cause deflection, again wolf leaning,

Mixy: were you talking to pippy? That is most obvious explanation. No reason you should keep that quiet if so. Luck? Possible but I don’t buy it in WW. Discussed it with fellow wolves? Also a possibility. Leaning wolf pending further info, especially as you seemed sketch to me yesterday as well.

I wanna Lynch Nav..His play is sketchiest. I am reluctant to Lynch him cause he seems most likely to be alpha, and this would be a wasted Lynch,.

Unfortunately fern is also more likely an alpha based on play than vanilla wolf.

I could go with crack some egg theory but instead will stay with Mixy. Another player with too much sketch for me to ignore for now.

Too bad I had to leave, as I would have been best villager. I was intent on lynching mixy and then dolphin. Given the game setup I figured that was a good strategy, so I would have been the ideal villager 😛

I don’t like these NaV Lynch votes, they are just lazy placeholders. The kind of thing a wolf does to fly under radar.
I am still convinced Alissa is a villager based on her play, regardless of what others think.

That leaves me with

I can show a video to one player each night to find out if they are an “evil dojo hound”. I assumed that meant that I could find wolves, or maybe one specific wolf was my guess.

I checked the following people with the results

N1: miz. Not
N2: sport: Not
N3: Cubs - yes
N4 : Barks - yes
N5: no one

I voted cubs again on day 4 (but my vote was disallowed for some reason) because I figured I found a wolf. But the results on night 4 invalidate that as barks was confirmed a villager. I don’t see any of those players saying anything on thread to indicate my action had any other effect, so I conclude it is a joke. If anyone sees otherwise, great. I will continue to use it, and share results, but i would consider myself mostly a vanilla villager at this point.

I have got through holdthemayo and Dina. My internet is getting sketchy again so I want to post before I have a problem (don’t ask me my opinion of Comcast today)...

It seems like Mel is central in picking between these 2.

The most salient part of holdthemayo was her insistence on kras being falsely accused. It is really her strongest call. It was right, but also it feels a little weird to have been that sure IMO. Wolves know who the villagers are ya know. But noth8ng else stands out, she was anti AM, then changed her mind, so that seems ok to me, she is mostly on at nights which is probably just a lifestyle thing. So just a tiny bit of wolfiness there,

The Mel thing about Dina being home different from other vanilla villagers is 8nteresting and unexplained. If she has a role, why didn’t she use it? I can see maybe she has a passive role that she doesn’t want to let wolves know about. Also she didn’t try to clear things up more like just throw some mud and hope it stuck.
But there is also her gameplay which is uninspiring in any fashion. Posts a bit regularly but not very in-depth imo.That is good enough for me,

Read through last night’s posts, and that seemed bizarre. And ziggy who is a posting machine was strangely absent. Seems pretty blatant, but I will reserve judgement until I finish going through her 100 posts or so .....

Finished Ziggy iso....mainly fluff, annoying to have to wade through that (although irrelevant) Not a lot of hard accusations or reads IMO.

My read is this: if PSV isn't wolf, then we should take down Nate and Fluff and SAR.

I don't know if that's what is meant since affiliation has been used interchangeably with flavor this game. It seems game-breaking though if it's to mean "wolves all have the same flavor" vs the usual "wolves are the same affiliation and know each other's identities."

This whole discussion has been so frustrating for me because I think it would be a completely broken game to have the opposite. Like, not terribly-unbalanced broken, like no-internal-coherency broken. The flavour faction I’m given has a common wincon, ie it’s a gameplay faction. Thus it is incompatible with being a wolf, a totally separate wincon faction. Wolves could have cover roles with cover non-wolf factions, just like cover roles in any other game, but it makes no sense to say they’re *actually* hiding in different factions.

I guess this is moot now because of the wolf flip, but I’ve been steamed abiut this argument and didn’t think about that until mostly done ranting anyways lol

While I think this scenario is more likely, I don't fully agree. I feel like it would be possible for a wolf to "pretend" to be part of a faction but truly be part of the wolf faction. This could still result in the wolves are all one faction answer. idk

There’s a big difference between pretending/cover roles and giving out mod information saying a wolf is in a different faction. The latter is bastard and this game was not advertised as bastard.
