The night began as they usually have, with gangs looking to fulfill the hit on a particular person. This evening, the two biggest gangs wanted nothing to do with this hit, stating that others should have to deal with the consequences of doing the kill, and not themselves. That left the two smallest gangs to try and track down this elusive being.
The two people carrying out the hit decided that they should team up and track them down together. Except, one of the two decided to show up completely drunk.
“Do I smell alcohol on your breath? Hell, you can’t even walk straight at this point. You shouldn’t even be allowed to carry a gun right now!”
“I’m, I’m, soooooooo fine. I jus had a weeeeeeeeee bit to dring, but its not a big deal at all, I sweat. *hic* I jus neeed to kill him. I need to do it. Because my gang said so. So I am going to do it.”
The gang leader who was carrying out the hit starts hitting his head against the brick wall behind him. “Great, now I need to kill someone and play baby sister. Those bastards in those other gangs. Two of them won’t show up, and a third sends a drunk over to me. How wonderful. Why I could just…” His thoughts were interrupted by a group of 7 people approaching him.
“It’s nice of you guys to finally show up. Now here is how I think we should find and take out Rocky to….”
“We aren’t interested in that tonight. You are coming with us. We, uh, need to have a little conversation.”
“I liiiiiike conva, conver, convasashins.” The drunk gang member was slurring his words and tried following the group. “No, you stay, you are not involved in this. Go on your little escapade and do what you need to do.”
“Buuuut, howwww do I find that which cannot be fooooooounnnnnd. Found is a funny word.” The drunk gang member chuckled to himself.
Unsurprisingly, the lone gang member was unsuccessful in finding and killing Rocky last night.

On the other side of town, Hayley, who now felt safer than ever, preceded onwards with her nightly activities. You see, every night she would bring 2 people together into neutral territory, an area that she owned that was not part of any gang’s territory, and allow them to talk things out for the night. You see, she was a mediator. Although, she did like causing a little bit of trouble to. For instance, she had recruited the two people who were probably most ready to kill each other, Kam and SoV, into the territory that evening, just to obtain some entertainment.
Obviously, negotiations were not going well. In fact, SoV stormed off in a huff when he realized that the person he was meeting with was Kam. Following her failed efforts, Hayley decided to head home.
Unfortunately, she thought she was completely safe, and decided against taking the back alleys and the areas through buildings on the way home. She decided to take the straight shot.
A man approached Hayley, saying , “Hayley, some accusations have been made against you recently. The police are thinking of prosecuting you. I think that I may be able to help you, as I have been trying to help others. Would you have a second to talk?”
“Um, who are you again? Oh wait, yeah, I know who you are, you were involved in the….”
“Yes, I was. Too bad that it was unsuccessful. But anyway, we can go over your case, if you’ve got a minute.”
“It is kind of late, but as long as we are quick, I guess it would be okay.” They head into a building behind the man, and take the elevator on their right to the 13th floor. They head through a lobby and enter a door at the very end of a long hallway.
“So your file is right here. I will let you review it yourself.” Hayley takes the folder and opens it up, to find nothing but blank pieces of paper. “This is all just…”
*Bang* *Bang* *Bang* Bang*
4 shots head straight through the folder that Hayley was carrying and enter Hayley’s chest. Hayley falls backwards in her chair, gasping for air.
“You see, I don’t really trust those that claim to be neutrals. Never have, never will. I like the status quo of this city. The status quo is being upset by many people, and I think you are one of them. Now, I couldn’t have you try and pull any of the same stunts you have pulled in the last few nights. I needed to make sure I got the job done right. And damn it, it is getting done right.”
The man walks over, gun pointing straight down at Hayley’s head.
“Iiiiiiiits” Hayley makes a gasping noise. “naawwwwww.” A gun shot goes off. This time blood started pouring out through her skull. She was dead within seconds.

“Chief, we noticed that there were no arrests this last evening. Can you elaborate on why this didn’t occur?”
“Unfortunately, these are all still on-going investigations, so I would not be able to further elaborate on any of this.”
“Was it because you were busy recruiting others for the force? Were you unable to make any arrests last night? Is there some confounding variable I am not thinking of?
“Ma’am,” the police chief was clearly getting heated at this point. “I understand that you may have trouble understanding that this is an on going investigation and we are not able to say anymore. But unfortunately that is the only answer that I have for you at this moment.”
“But you had absolutely no problem giving us extra information two days ago and three days ago. What has changed now? Why are you now saying you can’t give anymore information?”
“Oh you know what!” The police chief had a very sarcastic voice on now. “Since you asked it in that new manner, even though you are asking the exact same damned question, clearly I can answer it now! Oh wait, no, I can’t. But thank you for enforcing the fact that this was an absolutely pointless press conference.”

A law has just been ratified by the senate and signed into law this morning by the mayor. It states, “On this day, we will have an "open discovery in criminal law." A common theme in civil law, open discovery would be quite novel in criminal law. Allowing both plaintiff and dependent to have their records searched and made open for legal scrutiny for any malfeasance. In this situation the lynched individual can select someone who voted for them *at any point that round* and have them lynched as well.” Be aware of this wile you are lynching today

In addition, our first interesting wiretap can now be listened to. This one was swiped from a leader of another gang while they were out trying to carry out a hit last night.
Well hi there.
Mmkay well unfortunately I am heading to bed here and probably won't be back until night closes.
I can tell you that I am not in a gang, have never gotten an item, nowhere in my role description does it mention me being recruitable, and I've been told through PMs that (as of Day 3) 2 or 3 gangs were wolf free.
This is the first chance I've been able to talk to someone at night, kind of sad to see it go to waste.
Sorry. I ended up going to bed. I'm also not in a gang, and most of the PMs have not gone anywhere. I've also never had an item, but people can see what I PM.
It's interesting that some of the gangs were wolf free.
