I definitely wasn't the one who told Kcough that I was part of the bloodhound gang. I just said that my gang wouldn't speak to me. And they still won't... For now, I'm talking to the Neutral Zone.

So I think this counts as strategy talking?? And it might clear up some confusion... so from the law today can I ask what your role name is?

I'm the Druggie. Also, I found out from the mods that I don't belong to any gang. (That explains why no one has been talking to me.)
 
I started out getting the druggie night chats (and my role description said I was the lowest in my gang) but once we started recruiting people I no longer was included in them. But apparently someone has already debunked the theory regarding the druggie chats so not sure how helpful that is

Also, given allieh's info, I'd be ok with a WZ lynch unless something more interesting comes about. At this point I'm sure at least one of the originals has a cover role given the write up that said the police chief was going under cover.

I'd just like to say that though it was bound to happen eventually, awful awful timing wolves. I literally just got done with an exam that was pushed back from Friday, ready to start spring break, to find I'm dead. Good luck villagers!

It was El Contador. Then I just assumed it stayed the same because STL didn't say anything other than my gang didn't like me any more. Then when I was recruited that night, he said my role name was the Runner of the Bloodhound gang at that point.

So I didn't have a name in between or it stayed the same? I'm not sure.

I do know how the druggie chat is set up. I've just been afraid to say in case wolves are in the chat.
 
Sorry I keep missing so much day discussion. My role name is the Leader. Also for simplicity's sake when discussing, our gang is the shankers.

It's interesting to me that everyone in El Capo had 'el' before their role name aside from WZ. I feel like it could be STL preventing villager code again or it could be significant.

I'd also be interested in knowing how people are picked for druggie chat. Given midwife's role name, that she's apparently always in it, and she knows how people end up in it its pretty obvious it's connected to her role at this point.

Is this the part where I beg for my life? For some reason I feel like it won't do much good. By my own logic it doesn't make sense not to follow through in a lynch. Tis a shame though, tomorrow is my day off!

In my mind it won't do much good. You chose to take the hit on fireman knowing he had a useful ability, so instead of waiting and using one of his items to investigate him, you took him out. And guess what? I was right, not only was he a villager, his ability wasn't passed on! So for fireman, I feel like you need to go, to get more information.

Hey, I mean, I just said it makes no sense not to follow through,that would be why I'm not begging for my life. But I wasn't the only one who felt that way, and literally the only reason this is even a thing is because of the weird setup of this game. Gotta say I prefer the immediacy of an actual lynch without the hemming and hawing about whether or not to go through with it afterwards.

The only item of his that I had heard of was the tranq gun, assuming that was one of his. Hadn't seen evidence of the investigative items, or seen that they had produced any info.
 
Idk if the wolves will go after me again tonight or not. My info is sometimes helpful, sometimes not (first three nights were just the names of the different gangs for instance) but I wouldn't mind protection if it's still out there. Although if there's a super important role I'd rather the protection goes to that.
 
The night began with a broadcast that was somehow broadcasting only on the television of the current gang leaders (except for WZ, but we will get to that later), which appeared as the following:

The anthem of the president played in the background while a shadowy figure appeared on the screen. The shadowy figure was visibly beaming, even with all of the digital editing causing his face to appear as a constantly changing, shadowy blackness.

“To all of you watching, and by that I mean the three remaining gang leaders, I congratulate you. You must truly be doing well for yourself, you have gotten rid of two of our undercovers already. Also, your gangs are all in the process of taking out one of my finest cops, who would have become a lieutenant. She was a fine officer, but her sacrifice won’t be in vain.”

The man starts chuckling, which turns into an obnoxious snortling. “So, why am I so happy right now? Why am I laughing you may ask? Well, you see, it all comes down to trades. You see, I let you take my knight, but when I get your bishop, your rook, and your queen in return, then I am not such an unhappy man.”

The man on the television shakes his head. “Oh yes, that’s right, you probably have no clue what I mean. Well, you did send all of your men after my undercover cop. So, that has left all of you vulnerable, in one way, shape or form. For example, one of you is going to lose half of your gang tonight, as there is no one left to protect your gang, and you decided that it wasn’t worth your time to protect them tonight. Another one of you has been infiltrated tonight, thanks to some handy undercover work on our part. Good luck trying to parse out which one of you that happened to.

“And yes, the third one. Well, did you know that your friend DVMD had learned from the matador on the art of killing people. I mean that killing of DocE was so elaborate and well planned that we let her stay free a few extra nights even though we had all the evidence we needed against her. You know, just enough time for WZ to learn the tricks of the game.”

The man pauses and turns to face the camera squarely. “You see, they knew that a bomb that could be set off by very high frequencies could be easily placed in your house without notice. And they also knew that if the TV were to emit such a high frequency, then death would come almost instantaneously for the person who was sitting right underneath the bomb. Speaking of which…”

In real time, 2 of the three remaining gang leaders heard a large boom coming from the other side of town.

The man paused, and then smiled from ear to ear. “That’s right, one of your friends just died. Too bad to, as he was actually able to figure out all of our true role names. Ah well, better luck next time I guess?”

“Well, I should really let you go back to your almost non-existent gangs that are either obliterated, infiltrated, or both. And don’t worry, death will come shortly for those that deserve it. It is almost over. Is it all, almost over.”

On the other side of town, the hitmen heading for WZ that night all heard a boom, and looked back to see smoke seeping into the air. They were told to ignore all distractions and ensure that WZ was ended tonight.

They found her car at the police station, with cops outside guarding the entire place. The hit men looked at each other, knowing that this would be loads of fun. They nodded to one of them to take a sniper’s position on the roof above, and they waited. 10 minutes later, a red laser could be viewed coming from the tower, which was the signal that he was good to go. They sent a red laser dot back up towards the roof, signaling they were ready as well.

The sniper made quick work of things as he always did. He took the guards out from the make shift watch tower they had made to protect the police station, ever since the police chief had killed all of those reporters. He then fired at the 3 guards at the back door, taking out all three before they could even make anything resembling a commotion. Finally, the guards took out the 4 cops at the front door, all while they were rotating around, preventing anyone inside the building from witnessing what was going on.

A red dot shined back down from the roof. This indicated the coast was clear. The remaining hit men entered the police building through the back door. They knew how WZ was, she would be right in the office where the chief should be. She liked to control everything, and thus would put herself in a place of importance while there.

They head through the halls, and notice that the place was nearly deserted. “I wonder where all the cops are.” The man whispered, almost unintelligibly. They ran down the hall to the chief’s office, in which they came upon a closed door. They burst open the door, and saw WZ sitting back in the huge chair, with her feet on the desk.

“Well, well, I gave you less credit than the chief did. I didn’t think you would make it in here. He knew you would kill me though.” WZ chuckles to herself. It’s a funny thing about death. You see, in death, I will be doing right by my family, and finally doing what is best for them. They will be set up for the rest of their lives thanks to my heroism. And all it cost was a kill here and there, and arresting a few bad people.”

“You, you were a member of the top gang. A high ranking member at that. You had the world at your fingertips and you just…”

“But don’t you see. That power was fake. All they had was power fueled by illegality. In the end, that power means nothing. But power that is gained legally, now that makes all of the difference.”

The two men looked at each other utterly confused. “So you want to di…”

“Well no, I don’t want to die. But I knew it was inevitable. In fact, I was sure I was done for the other night, when multiple people had taken records of me imprisoning DVMD. But one of them never released the records and I managed to get a hold of them, and the other’s records have not been released yet. Too bad, it’s almost like I knew in taking out my group, I knew I would buy an extra couple of days in life, you know, to settle my affairs.”

WZ chuckles a subtly evil laugh. “You see, everyone thought it would be too stupid of me to recruit the one person I call a dear friend. They said it would be too obvious and too stupid to recruit the one person that could arm us each night and thus allowing us to kill more of you scum bags. They said it would be too dumb to go and kill off the rest of my game because clearly it would just be those mean old cops trying to frame innocent little me.” WZ gives a coy smile at them.

“But what you must realize is that what is stupid is actually quite intelligent when everyone expects the best out of you. My stupidity was actually ingenious and the irony of it is oh so sweet.” She keeps laughing, clearly too proud of herself. “Anyway, I figured I definitely wouldn’t live past tonight. I have already swallowed poison that will kill me within the next 5 minutes. So feel free to ask me whatever you want in the remaining time we have left…”

That’s when one of the hit man chucked a knife right at WZ, lodging in her shoulder. She cried out in pain. The man jumped over the desk, punching WZ full force in the face. He ripped the knife from her shoulder, and kept doing a repetitive motion of stab, rotate the blade, remove the blade. He did this 6 or 7 times, leaving her brutally mutilated when he heard the ticking.

“There’s a reason this place is empty, it’s going to freaking explode.” The two men started sprinting for the back door. It was chained from the outside. They run towards the front door, also chained from the outside. “Good thing we had plan B in place.” The man shouted as he motioned towards the stairs.

They sprint up the steps, reaching the roof, just in time for the first explosion. They each whip out two guns with hooks at the ends, and aim for the building across the way. The shoot and both claws grasp the edge of the next roof. They quickly start climbing up the ropes, and are halfway when they hear the second explosion. Flames being licking at the bottom of their ropes. They continue the climb across and makes it to the next roof just as the bottom of their lines fully catch on fire. That’s when the third explosion happened. This explosion completely obliterated the entire building, and the roof of the police building collapsed on itself.

“No way we could get blamed for that one, eh?” The two men realized that WZ had died in there, and they were the last ones there when the explosions had gone off. “We should probably lay low for the next few days.”

On the police chatter last night:

“Hi…. Chief? Were you able to get the two people into custody last night?”

“Absolutely. That cocaine is damn good stuff. I always have and always will be lucky when it comes to risks. People tell me that there is always a chance that this stuff could block me. But for me, there never was a chance at all. My luck just works that way. And damn did that energize me enough to take on both of those bastards at once.”

“Well, I am not sure if we should be talking about cocaine on the rad….”

“Oh shush it, noobie. You and I both know that I control this city now. No one else wants to deal with these gangs. And I have effectively destroyed….”

“Yeah yeah, we get it. You are the best cop to have ever lived. No one will ever be like you, not now, not ever. Just bring them back to the new headquarters, will yha?

Jayna is dead. If Allie's information is correct, they can only kill in gangs they are apart of. I know I'm not a wolf, so that means that Ceph is.

Alright, I'm about to go to class, but I wanted to throw out a theory. A few nights ago, our gang (the Russians), recruited Caiter. And then 2 of my members died last night, leaving it to be just Caiter and me. I asked her last night (to remind everyone she claims to be the ability/role seer) who she seered, and she had an awful lot of the El gang (she seered Teep night 2, MJ, then Dy, DVMD, etc). Also, she seered Kcough and in the write up it says the wolves knew her ability. How would they know that unless they seered her?

To top it all off, we already captured one wolf that started off in a gang, so to me it would make sense to have another one that was recruitable.

Interesting. I haven't read the write-ups that closely, so I'm going to go back and check.
 
I just see that they learned that in retrospect after she admitted it when arrested? Or maybe I'm missing something?

But we know there's an original left and if Caiter wasn't recruited until the other night, she's not included in the Russian count - right? Can you confirm that timing, @Ashgirl

That also leaves the two in my gang as well. So Caiter, Jil and Swin.
