She was NOT included in the Russian count, correct. When Kcough asked how many wolves it was before we recruited Caiter

Well it said through interrogation, but what if that was before they arrested her? I think it could be read both ways, but with my gang almost being wiped out after she was recruited and due to her (to me) sketchy seering patterns, I really think she might be the other original.

Also, I thought we were going to try and recruit Midwife last night but maybe it wasn't a solid enough answer to actually have it go through?
 
OK, last post because I know I am talking too much. 😛 I thought I had a free period this morning but turns out I have labs the entire day.

Alright, I'm about to go to class, but I wanted to throw out a theory. A few nights ago, our gang (the Russians), recruited Caiter. And then 2 of my members died last night, leaving it to be just Caiter and me. I asked her last night (to remind everyone she claims to be the ability/role seer) who she seered, and she had an awful lot of the El gang (she seered Teep night 2, MJ, then Dy, DVMD, etc). Also, she seered Kcough and in the write up it says the wolves knew her ability. How would they know that unless they seered her?

To top it all off, we already captured one wolf that started off in a gang, so to me it would make sense to have another one that was recruitable.

Yesterday was my first day as a Russian. You are making it seem as if I have been in the gang for a while. Kcough was gone before I joined, I am in no way connected to that. I am also not connected to LIS and Allie. You had the informant in your gang. FS probably gave the wolves all the info about the Russians---it was alluded to he made a deal with the Police/wolves in the write up a few days ago. That is probably how the wolves knew about kcough.

Yes, I did end up having a few of el capo I seered for abilities. Teep was random, a lot of the others where veterans I knew would be dangerous as wolves, so obviously I checked their abilities. Some of them also moved between groups, and I checked them for that reason as well. MJ was a Russian though, so I don't know why you are including him in that group.

If I was a wolf, why would I have sent you the list of abilities when you asked for it? I could have easily ignored that PM, but I wanted to help you.

It seems like from the Russian chat I was recruited because you thought I might be a wolf though, so I appear to have been screwed from the beginning.

Jayna is dead. If Allie's information is correct, they can only kill in gangs they are apart of. I know I'm not a wolf, so that means that Ceph is.

Yeah, and I actually have labs where I'm not sitting on my computer all day. Lol

For anyone that has the time, it would be helpful to have a general post of when people died so we can get some idea of a timeline. I can do it at the end of the day but I have extra practice for the osce at lunch so I have to go to that.

I can do it later though if needed.

I'm between Ceph and Caiter. I have nothing else but what I've shared with people. Got an exam tomorrow so I'll check back before deadline to see if anything sways my opinion

Exactly.

Again, I think it would make sense to have one of the original wolves to be in a gang already, and one that could be recruited into a gang.

As for the convert, it's either in the Shankers or Bloodhound gang (the write up said one of you will lose half of your gang- that was me-Russians, and it said another one of you will have a convert). But I'm not sure which one is more likely. (if the wolves killed Jayna, then by Allie's logic they would be in the Shankers Gang, but it could have been a stupid villager kill I suppose).
 
But then I started to waffle to caiter so I unlynched. But I'm thinking the two of them are our last two.
 
Are we trusting Allieh's logic - that wolves can only kill a target in their own gang? Am I understanding that correctly? How would that explain all the villager imprisonments? Makes sense that cops would infiltrate gangs (so we are looking for gang members), but they can imprison/kill anyone.

Woah, hang on now... I've been in that gang since day 1, and you said yourself you had cleared our gang a few nights in. I'm not the one that warrants closer examination, here.

I think there's a difference between Kill and imprisonment. They can imprison anyone. But they can only kill those that are in the same gang... at least that is what I got from it.

If it was a villager kill, I almost think it would be beneficial for that person to come forward so we know it was a villager and won't spend all of our time chasing after the shanker gang.

Did Jayna die from a wolf killing her or as result of her partaking in the hit on WZ? I can't tell. Because if it was a wolf kill, ceph has to have been converted.

I don't know if there is any way to find out unless someone confesses to it. Otherwise it could be 1) wolf-kill 2) villager-kill 3) rebound from killing WZ?

Actually I think he was villager and then turned n5 (that's when it matches up with the write-up but idk). But I think he counted as a wolf even though he started as a villager? I think?
 
Since the two converts were MJ (villager/not in a gang) and Teep (gang-affiliated), it would seem like an original wolf was recruited to a gang early on? So, as of N6 there should have been a wolf recruited to be in a gang. Does recruiting in a gang prohibit other gang-related night actions?

Not for my gang. We could recruit and partake in the hit, etc in one night

I honestly think it depends on how you read the question. Because since MJ was a wolf N5 or whenever Kcough asked that question, I think that counts as recruiting a wolf. However, can any of the gangs have any members that they recruited before N6 that are still around?

And no, we can recruit plus do other gang night actions.
 
I'm waffling back to my original thought. But caiter has my vote tomorrow.
