Infiltrated WW Game Thread

We start this evening with discussions on the hit last night. Each gang immediately decided that it was not worth it to them to bother with Ceph, and thus the hit was called off.

We next head to a mansion on the west side of town, where one of the current gang leaders resides. You see, she had spent the night beating up someone, trying to force them to admit they were a cop. Despite all of her efforts, the man never revealed that he was a cop. She let him go with no hard feelings.

Two hours later, she heard footsteps outside of her bedroom window. She dived on the floor and grabbed her gun with silver bullets before the bullets rained through her window. She took cover behind the bed and heard the person crash through the remaining shards of window. She raised her gun above her and fired shots in the direction of her assailant.

A grunt in pain, she must have got him. She peers her head around the top of the bed, and immediately collapses her head back down, as a bullet whizzed just next to her head.

The alarm system rigged to her house finally became aware of what was going on, and alarms started shrieking throughout the house. Luckily, she had rigged it up to a private protection agency and not the cops.

The man through a knife at the gang leader, which lodged just above her head into the mattress. The gang leader ripped the knife out, and fired two shots at her assailant. The man took cover under the bed, which gave her enough time to jump and return the knife to it’s sender, lodging it in his upper calf.

The man screamed out in pain. He fired behind her two more shots, making her hide back behind the bed. She went to return fire at him, and realize she was out of bullets.

The man hobbled quickly back out the window, disappearing into the darkness around him.

Another person searched all night to kill their target. They were sure that this was the right move. But a retreat command had been ordered for the gang that night, and the kill was called off as a result…

Same here. At this point we know the convert is in The Bloodhound gang, but there is still the original to find...

The only two I have listed as being in the bloodhound gang are swin and caia (recruit). Do you know of anyone else?

Ahhhh. gotchya! So one of them is the convert -dang I wish we had figured this out before lynching Ceph. That sucks.

Then, I feel like the original must be Caiter. Ugh. This is so confusing.

That's what I am thinking, I just wish the rest of the villagers thought that way too.

Do you Caiter's role name or gang? I don't. Either I missed it one day or she hasn't divulged.

She was recruited to the Russian gang, but I do not know her role name

No one died. It is day 15. Lynch/hit deadline is set for 8:30 pm est. There are 9 players remaining in the game. Note that we are now on DAY PMs! Plurality rules are no longer in effect!

Answering here because I saw it after night closed... Largely because the only reason they're cleared is from someone in that gang themselves.
 
In case it wasn't clear... I was the gang leader that the wolves tried to kill last night. Good try wolves, but no such luck!
 
Also- Our question last night was to ask how many wolves were in the bloodhound gang. We got 1. So. There's Caia, Swin, and Jilary in that gang.

However, we still have an original left guys, and I would personally want to go after them first...
 
I was the one they were trying to kill before there was the gang retreat.

But how do we know it wasn't a villager kill? It definitely could have been.
 
I was blocked last night so I was unable to find more information for everyone. I'm busy and just skimmed write up.
 
Also, was interrogated last night (assuming by you ashgirl? 😛 ) and it said there was nothing to reveal.

So can we actually look for the wolf and not assume it's me now?

True. But why would they have targeted aloha? It would have made more sense for a villager to go after ceph, since she was the one up for the hit.

Idk, it's all just confusing.

I'm not going to lie, it was you.

HOWEVER, the ability from STL says that every wolf but one will admit to being a wolf. I'm sorry, but in my mind that does not 100% clear you.

It's just with my gang almost perishing and then me getting attacked last night... it just seems like it would be perfect for you to gain my abilities as a wolf... at least that's what I would do.

And my last thought on Caiter today- I just thought of something. STL said that the ability I used last night was to interrogate. When Kcough died it said she was interrogated (I still think it was before she died personally....). What if the one wolf that interrogating wouldn't work on was the interrogator herself? Especially because you are an ability seer. How do you do that? By interrogation? Maybe it would be best to say your role name to see who you really are.

Just a thought. I'm sorry Caiter if you aren't a wolf, honestly. But this just all rubs me the wrong way.

Currently it's "runner for the Russian gang"

But before you recruited me, it was "The Detective."

You can see why I didn't say it before, cause nowadays that usually only applies to police, but it didn't always.

But I'm not a cop or a wolf.

Hmmm... I wonder if we would have a villager "private investigator" (That's what Dev was- anyone know what her role was???????) along with a villager "detective".... It still seems fishy to me

The Detective sounds like a role that would be in the Bloodhound Gang. Was Dev part of that gang?

No, she wasn't I don't think. Dev was the private investigator. Caiter is the one who is claiming detective, which to me sounds like a cop.

Not fake, just not a wolf and not the wolf who can be interrogated and not reveal they are a cop...

I realize having a Detective and PI in the same game is weird---I also thought so. And was bummed when Dev was revealed to be the PI, because it made my already slightly sketchy sounding role be even more sketchy.

Still a villager though.
 
I know I could be gunning for a villager here. I know. But the fact that there is a potential interrogator and the fact that out of 9 seers, 5 was either right before that person turned convert (MJ, Teep), or were from the El Capo gang and then all of those died the day or two after Caiter seered (STB, dy, DVMD).

I realize Caiter could have had unlucky guesses for who to seer. but this is driving my nuts and it to me it still points to Caiter being a wolf.

Because that would have made you look suspicious, and at least you sharing would make you look honest and would make me trust you more.

I really would love for you to be a villager. Really, I want to be wrong. But I have all these feels and the last time I had those in the last few games it was always spot on and I can't help but to think it's right again.
 
Yet another reason I just thought of: The write-up made it appear like I was trying to be killed, not imprisoned. I could be interpreting it wrong but I don't think so. Again, if Allie is correct, who can kill me but the only person in my gang, which is Caiter??
 
Yesterday someone said Caiter and aloha had been cleared but by some sketchy mechanism. Does anyone know what that was? I have class until 6:30 tonight so I don't have time to go back and check. I narrowed down the possible originals to Caiter, aloha, midwife or kata. I had the filing cabinet last night and I figured I check one of those 4 to see if they were hard to kill. Seems like the police chief is still out there. Anyway, kata isn't hard to kill and right now I'm inclined to believe kata and midwife's role claims, or I should say they are believable. That leaves aloha and Caiter.

Well Aloha was seered by Caiter and regardless of Caiter being a wolf or a villager seer, Aloha's role of being able to check the wolves numbers in a gang twice checks out. I would think that would not be a wolfy role, personally.

Most wolf packs have a seer of some sorts. There was only two wolves, so it makes sense to have a seer + whatever WZ wolf role was. If you recall WZ's "villager" role was to move players (which she did actually move people around), so again, it would make sense to have Caiter have a "villager role" like seering too.
 
I've had some feels about Caiter for a while and have no qualms about lynching her.

Also, the whole wolves-can-only-kill-in-their-gang line of reasoning should be long moot by this point.

I didn't try to kill Aloha last night - I was the one who issued the "retreat" order to save our entire gang (myself included, just in case anyone had any ideas about carrying out the hit). Someone outside of our gang tried to take out Aloha.
 
Also: I used the drone last night to follow Caia, and was told that they were seen interacting with Swin.
 
If we think wolves have to be in gangs to kill and Ash was attacked last night, I'm voting to Lynch Caiter.

I just can't shake the feeling. I won't be out of work until after lynch probably. So I want to make sure I have a vote in. We are still looking for 2 wolves. No one was killed/imprisoned either last night so I hope there wasn't another conversion, that seems a tad unbalanced. I didn't read the write up very carefully though.
