Night 5 reminds me of the movies.... First off it was a perfect storm, so many things happened just in a certain way to have a very unlikely, and not so happy for the participants.. Secondly it is kind of like a Quentin Tarrantino movie.... there will be plenty of violence, killing and gore to satisfy your blood lust. Rated R.
Where should we start?
Let's start with the first part of an elaborate hate triangle. Crawling along on the ground with its tail up in the air, is very misunderstood creature by the name of
cuitlamiztli. Sure she once tried to harm another creature, but that was early in the game, and since then she has been a model citizen. Little did she know that little parasites were slowly destroying her liver (if she even has one... ), and although the chance that she would die from this infestation was small, it still existed. Unfortunately for Cuitl, she has never been good at gambling, and the odds went against her, her liver failed and she died. So we must bid a fond adieu to
Cuitlamizli, the scorpion who has died from a liver fluke infection.
After Cuitl's little body flops to the ground, the liver fluke quickly departs the premises, and once again starts looking around for fast food, today trying to find a Pizza Hut, because if there is one thing that we learned in parasitology, is that flukes like variety, and McDonald's and liver were not enough for this little gal. She starts heading to the downtown area when she is caught by another tiny, but deadly creature of the world: The butterfly. This butterfly, buttressed by mutant DNA making her bold, faces the fluke, swollen with liver cells, and swallows her whole, making not a bad meal for a butterfly. So we have seen the
death of Nohika, aka Captain Higgins, the liver fluke (.http://theoatmeal.com/comics/captain_higgins). a role created by your very own Packen!
Our butterfly was quite content with herself. She was sooooo powerful that she went out to do a little investigating while she was at it... She went and spied on another creature and was making a shocking discovery, when she lingered too long on the ground instead of flitting from one place to another like she is supposed to be. A creature muttering... I don't give a damn... I don't give a damn attacked her mutantly enhanced body, smashed her, then threw antibiotics on her (just in case, although they had no effect), and then used a shotgun on her just to be sure. A little overkill perhaps? A little violent for the little ones reading? For sure... All the gal wanted was a little ...I don;t know... i hope she got it...Then she went on her merry way still muttering "don't give a damn"... So the death triangle is completed as
Kaydubs the Monarch butterfly, is killed, thus finishing the destruction of her whole pack of
wolves (see I know how to use that word).
Yay! The villagers won...
Um...not so fast... Sadly for the villagers, evil still lurks in the WWild.
The night is still young, let us enjoy this summer nights, with the cicadas chirping in tune with crickets, and the fireflies lighting the night, and lovers walking hand in hand, and Devyn drinking in an Irish pub.. Oh Devyn. Hi!
. How ya doing? We should see how our cave dwelling friend is doing. So many have tried to kill Devyn for so long it seems she is quite invincible.
Do you have a bad feeling about this? What do you think happens to Devyn after ferocious creatures like Dinosaurs and others have been after her? Well, unfortunately I can't say because this creature made a clean escape, but Devyn was NOT killed by the king of the jungle that's for sure.
All I can say is that
Devyn, the replicating, thermophillic bacteria is dead. It seems like she was targeted for good reason, and there was no cave to hide in now.
Finally there is one more creature who has survived multiple attacks, been left for dead, and attacked even more times (not all of them reported!). That my friends is Orcagirl (see I know which orca it is). Orca girl is not an Orca as you might suppose. But she has been resilient. Wounded, hounded, harassed, attacked, attacked again. But last night, after surviving an earlier attack by this creature, she is attacked by the very same organism again. Unfortunately, this time, the anti-bacterial lotion has been used up, and death comes quickly to our friend Orcagirl. So we find her body once again covered in green slime, and when we take her back for an autopsy again, there is no revival, no miraculous recovery. Sadly
Orcagirl, or should i say Woman, is finally dead.
After so much unprecedented death in a single day the creatures of the wwild are angry. Angry that such violence has occurred. Is there no thought behind all this death, how can this continue.
In anger, they depose their leaders. What is the point of leaders if they allow such rampant violence and carnage? The WWorld is now leaderless, let us hope chaos and anarchy do not result.
It is now Day 6. It will end at 10:13 pm EST , Please lynch someone, anyone by then. The mob wants its revenge, but be careful..... The end is near.
