by the way... from NY and interviewing nov. 13th(friday... lucky me🙁)

It's still early. Don't worry too much if you haven't gotten an interview just yet. I know people in my class that didn't interview until well after New Year's...

Be patient. It's ok to call and politely ask about your status to make sure you haven't been forgotten, or lost...although I haven't heard of that happening down here. Our staff rocks.

LECOM-B has an "alternative" list that they select/review from starting in January. It's the same thing as a waiting list, except most other schools don't look at the list until May.

That's what I did. I got into LECOM-B and promptly cancelled my NOVA and Erie interviews! Great day! Congrats to any new acceptees.

Neither. Just means they're waiting on your letters. You could call on Monday and make sure they got them.

I got an email today saying that they have reviewed my application but no decision has been made for an interview. They said they will reconsider my application within 60 days. I don't know if I'll ever hear back for an interview. PLEASE INVITE ME FOR AN INTERVIEW

kb- if it says a decision has been made, i think its cool if you call them to find out. I called the day my status changed and they told me over the phone. I got the acceptance letter like 4 days later. there were no extra tabs or anything so dont worry.

I have received confirmation of my secondary being processed, along with a list of things they are waiting on to consider my application. The list includes my two science prof letters (on their way right now), an AP credit transcript, and the waiver forms for my LORs. Do I really have to send a transcript from the AP program? I would have sent that a long time ago had I known it was required! Also, when you access the supplemental online, it just says to include the signed waiver with your letter request that you send to your writers. It never tells the letter writer to return it with the letter. So is that something I should just send on my own? I don't live in the same city as my letter writers anymore, so the process of mailing it to them to send would take forever...

I feel like I'm screwing myself with this school as we speak...I don't know that my letter writers included my address anywhere in the letter and I'm not sure that they both covered all the little specific details the school wants covered. It's so hard to take one letter someone writes for you and tailor it to each school's specific wishes. I don't know how some of you apply to all the DO schools and maintain your sanity!!

My interview ended at 2:30. The airport is about 20-30 minutes away. Hope that helps!

I am in the same boat!!! 60 days is a lifetime in an application cycle!!! It defiantly defeats the point of applying early!!!!!

Sorry about accomas being lame but at least if you finish your essays early you can flip your secondaries as soon as you receive them and that sould reflect well on you. I'm pretty sure it was a page each question but I don't think it's like a strict limit on characters, just roughly a page max for each essay. Hope that helps

School is mostly empty 'cause we only have to be there for ~2hrs a day. I much more comfy at home, so I study there...

Some of the clown paintings are quite good if you stop and look at them for a sec. There's not many "photos".

I have never seen a building that with perhaps 400 students look so bare. When I was told the school was very clean, I didnt think that meant of all traces of human presence.

I dont mean to bash the school, I am just amazed at how impersonal it looked. Besides the few pieces of furniture it could be a new building.

They do have an amazing board pass rate, but I just cant imagine studying/learning in such an empty place

That's what I'm saying. We don't do much "studying/learning" here. 99% of it is done at home at my desk, on my couch, or in my bed. A choice few study in the library or in the PBL rooms, but most of us...at home.

My house is quite cozy, but I don't usually give tours to applicants 🙂

yea I quess....it just seems so weird to me.
