SOV came out swinging with his mayoral campaign. He managed to win enough votes and has been chosen to lead the people through this weird game. As mayor, SOV has the power to PM with players from both groups. Also, he will serve as a tie breaker in any votes as necessary.

NOW THE IMPORTANT PART! Only Group the First is able to PM with each other and use their roles if they have one. Group the Second may not PM with each other or SOV. Also, if you are in Group the Second and have a role, you may not use it tonight. All items (if such things exist) will still work regardless of your group.

You have until 7pm central to complete any night actions.

It is really important that you investigate me right away so we can build trust... especially since I can communicate with you all, even if there is some trick by the mods with the assembly, we should be able to coordinate a quick defeat of the wolves.

I encourage you all to send me PMs as soon as you think you can trust me. Certainly I should be checked by night 2, so I understand if you want to wait until then.

Let's make this a quick villager victory!

We are only missing 3 PMs. The mods are exceptionally pleased and will not be exacting a toll on the player base tonight. Ok, they're sorta disappointed about that, actually.

Get those last 3 PMs in and we can close early!

Lynch late PMer. It's almost my bedtime and SDN is down at 6am when I get up.
 
Upon further reflection:

Night is closed. Write-up to follow as soon as I talk to Lissa and settle the outstanding issue (which is not a terribly big deal and not going to impact the night results).

I am going to start PM'ing out updates to keep things moving, and because I know y'all want to know what happened with whatever you sent in.

Please do not discuss the contents of the PMs/updates either here or via PM until the night write-up is posted.

 
It was a long night. So long in fact that the players started to get restless. Would the sun ever shine on another day? Of course it would. This is WW where the sun comes up when the mods say it does. And so night 1 came to a close. And what a night it was. People getting laminated, SOV taking a spin in the caaaaarrrrr! A diabetes epidemic seems to have struck our group as well, the bunch of fatties that they are. Magical flying tools were seen in the air floating in all sorts of directions. Word is still out on where they landed (if they landed!). Rumors of typewriters, ninja swords, and letters abound. In the end, everyone was confused. Everyone except devyn, a villager, who was only not confused because she was dead.

Your group may have changed, so pay attention to that before taking any action.

Group the First is still in control. Group the Second, you may not PM this day cycle.

I took your advice and investigated you last night with the thermal laminator. Turns out you are an Electrical Engineering trying to build some contraption. But the results also said I also sensed that you are a wolf, which makes a lot of sense after Trem's comment yesterday.

No...but it told me what he is and what's he's doing. And then it added that I also sense that he is a wolf. That's all I can tell you about the item at this point. I have no reason to think it was making stuff up.

If I'm wrong, then lynch me. It won't get you a wolf, but if it makes you feel better....

But if he is a wolf, Trem's next.

I figured the wolves would try this nonsense, as they have to be desperate to stop what I am doing.

Come on guys. Think. Would I do something so stupid that would out me on the first night. And if I am a wolf and I get a villager lynched I would die the 2nd night.

It makes no sense. And why would I be an electrical engineer making a contraption AND a wolf. No. The wolf part is garbage.


And thanks to the 4 of you who sent me items.

And I received a car ride which probably protected me.

If you guys don't make the mistake of lynching me, please try to send the rest of the items to me tonight. I think there are only a few more.

This would be the dumbest thing in the world for a wolf to do the first lynch. 🙄

Here's something I don't get...so you came out to say that it you get your items, you win the game like day 2. Why would the wolves keep you alive if you weren't on their side?

You asked to me investigated...I used the investigatory item on you. That's exactly what it said.

She said she was voting for you because you were in her group. She's in Group 2, which would mean she had to be in some other sort of group with you.

All night 1 results and object updates have been PM'd out. If you believe you should have received something and didn't, now is the time to let Lissa and me know. Thank you. We now return you to your regularly scheduled lynching.
