I find it kind of amusing for someone to do a multiple paragraph post and then complain about chatter in the next. Looking back at peoples' interactions is important in these games if you're not going to just sit around and wait for a seer...

Like this. This is contrary to everything that we've been trying to change around here. Lynching on feels and responses and voting patterns is the crux of the game - intel, data, mechanics are fluff, and you should not expect those things before placing a vote.

You need to get over that. "Data" should be viewed as secondary. This game is about judging what people say. Seering and "intel" and crap like that is super useful, but if you base your entire gameplay on it as a villager, the village won't do well.

And, not voting is a good way to get yourself lynched.

A lot of the random off-topic posts that they didn't tolerate there as much as here, I can see why they don't. They told me wolves love distraction. I find it harder to keep up with posts that offer useful intel amongst the chatter.

That said, do your things peeps. I don't mind the chatter but it makes me harder as far as I am concerned.

There's been a fair movement here to keep off-topic posts under stars. Makes it a little bit easier to sort through the"fluff" to get to actual game talk.

theres been a movement here in pre-vet to keep non-game chatter under stars ********** so that's it's easier to find game related content.

I'm not particularly feeling PBC or Jil right now, but based on the two, I think I have more feels for PBC.... the role itself still seems questionable and we haven't learned anything new about it since last nights lynch. Maybe we'll learn something useful from her lynch even if she isn't a wolf..

because I'm not crazy about the PBC lynch when we have her role and part of her ability. It be nice if she could share more here or with a pm so we can vet her a bit though.
 
I still don't love the PBC lynch. She was the first to post about the villager role formatting. Would be a risk as a wolf, since she wouldn't know for certain how consistent the descriptions were across the village. And I'd hope she would have been looked into last night, and no one has spoken out against her.

Why is everyone so intent on reasons? It's early game, usually we don't have much to go on, it may as well be random unless someone lucked out on night cycle. If I have a reason, I post it. Otherwise it's usually just me hoping I get lucky with blind guesses.

You have like 9 pages of posts to go on - that's half to a quarter of the size of some recent games. If it's just random, that's fine, but I'm curious to know that when you make the vote.

I have been too busy helping deliver babies to really do much but skim posts lately, someone could literally be screaming they were a wolf and I wouldn't notice until the weekend.
 
Grr, running out of time.

Finn, who died villager, said that PBC had PMed about her role. And then Finn died, and here we are voting to lynch PBC. Which makes me suspicious of people in the middle of the PBC lynch.

I already have a vote in. Also getting a bit peeved (as I do in games) that people seem to be complaining about me being quiet. One, I've hardly played enough to have a pattern, two, the only "pattern" that has emerged is that I speak up when I have something to say, and when I do, it's usually a lot.

I'm having some vague feels for genny, but I also know I'm a villager and want to live through this cycle, so

I suspect she was truthful in her villageryness, but it's also dangerous to keep someone around who will knowingly let chaos live because they think it's fun.

You're kind of making me feel things by repeatedly bringing this up. Yeah she's not the most faithful village folk, but that's not really in the equation for why I want her lynched.

And fun is important. :joyful:

Sorry, I do think it's important. If I have to pick someone who plays like chaos when a villager or someone who plays like a villager even when chaos, I will pick the latter most likely, especially when I'm the latter and I know I'm a a villager.

Btw - I only brought it up twice (after YOU brought it up, btw) and the second time was to justify my vote other than simple self preservation.

I agree fun is inportant, but I also want the village to win even if I die.
