I have an assignment to do so instead I'm making to make a rough reads list. (in no particular order within groups)

G'day govna:
AM
JJJ
samac
Boq
Santy

Pip pip cheerio:
SAR
dya
Stagg
Clem
Nate
marmot

I say:
chic
shelter
genny
mayo

I think per gut feels, marmot is town. Nate and Clem probably town too. I know others town-read SAR so probably should leave her alone. I haven't really gotten any strong feels there anyhow. dya is a big question mark for me. Not sure how to handle their slot. Ditto for Stagg.
I really don't think everyone in my red category is the pack ™️ but that's kind of where I stand.

if any broadly town-read player (or otherwise, a player you think is comfortable in the game state) is not town/village, who is that most likely to be?
so we're just chucking the town core then? how do you manage to sound so village when you say things like this? you know who wants to push everyone back in the eel pool? wolves.

ehhh this is a pretty village genny thing to say

I explicitly said we don't have to do anything with the discussion, but we need to have it. Painting that as "chuck the town core" is silly. There's no other way to express that the gamestate is troubling and we need to at least consider alternatives.

If we do consider alternatives and then decide to stay the course, so be it. But we'd be very foolish to decline even asking the hard questions.

Gut instinct. I really can't do much better than that and I won't go down swinging for either one, but I just kinda get the impression they're not wolfing here.
Pressure there is whatever though because evaluating their responses would be cool. Except I doubt you'll get one from either tbh

i think I’m having a hard time bringing everything together because we have 2 self inflicted village deaths.
I’m wanting to throw my reads list on its head, but this was only our first misyeet. Maybe it’s not time to go ape**** yet

Still trying to wrap my head around samac's supposed other tinkerer and what that means.

Clem nate and marmot feel coasty and I don’t mean that just from a number of posts perspective and I don’t know if that’s normal for them.

To play devil's advocate, are we at that point yet, though? We've had technically one misyeet plus a jester. We couldn't really avoid the jester. Yeeting Veggie isn't ideal but that was the first official misyeet. We've had a lot of village deaths which is obnoxious but we do still have a rough consensus PoE (yeah, me included) and I'm not sure we're quite to the point of reevaluating consensus town reads.

Dumb mechanical question that I will ask anyway:

There was no night 0 kill. Should there have been? Earlier in the game some folks suggested there's precedent for that here. Have there been two non-kills in the first two "nights"?

Hi child
Nice mind meld

I can confirm Nate always feels like that. I know there was a game where he wolfed with Zenge and wound up getting yoten but I don't remember what felt different there.
I mean, Clem feels like Clem to me. Caveat that when you're Clemming it up I don't know how to read his aff
I would disagree that marmot is coasting actually.

I don't think there's any way to know the answer to this question.

N0 is a mixed bag from my recollection.
Sometimes kills, sometimes not

I don't think we're at the hit the panic button and sound the alarm point yet, but we're certainly at the point of reconsidering our approach. Two misses in a row is not supposed to happen (I'm considering mkg to be a Day 1 miss). It can happen, and sometimes it does happen in games with rock-solid POEs. We should ask ourselves if that's how it usually works though. I tend to doubt we miss twice in a row if we're perfectly on the right track.

And I am usually someone who endorses keeping focus on a broad team hunting objective. We have to be dynamic in our approach as a village/town though, or we're liable to sleepwalk into a mess.

From the one game I modded, I expected more from marmot but I don't know if that's an outlier.

I see. I don't know if I agree on mkg being a miss per se given she wasn't voted out, but I suppose things were on that path. It's kind of hard to say.
imo I think the village core established atp is fine and the consensus PoE should continue to be evaluated. This is a larger ga

I mean
Jay can confirm they exist
I believe you. Totally possible but strange to have two tinkerers on town side. Which means your tinkerer could very well be a wolf tinkerer and tracing the items could give some insight. On the other hand, it's a jump to assume that so I don't know if it's something I should put brain power into.

hey, why did you post?
Anyway this is a larger game so I guess I don't really see it as a large failure. Certainly disappointing.

I hesitate to call mkg a miss because you've seen how much wagons can change near EOD. We didn't even get to that point fiscal yesterday so maybe we would have gone after someone else.

It's possible, sure. Who knows. I'm just kinda mentally truncating Day 1 at the moment shorty blew it up.

I certainly received a thing.

It went bung, but I received it. I received two things, really.

The sneezing also scares me because there’s once I was infected with something that would kill me and everyone I PM’d with and AM saved all our asses
So like
What was that

I thought it was very possible that I was poisoned and would die before I could break my silence. I was prepared to post my Jim Carrey rhino gif somewhere less pleasant.

Clem at the very bottom?

Also I forgot to put Dubz on my reads list but I was going to just put her in a category saying "I hate sand"

Jeez you could at least make me a more exciting color. I mean that one's accurate I guess but still...
