I think that MCAT is far too low to be successful this cycle. That's about a ~21 on the old scale, too low for nearly every DO school and especially MSUCOM. Study as hard as you can and bring that score up over the next year, and I think you'll knock it out of the park next cycle.

II complete early October. Do you guys think it will hurt my chances to interview in early December vs a week from now? I'd feel more prepared in December due to exams during this current and upcoming week, but I'm interested as to how significant an impact interviewing two weeks later may have

I don't think an early December interview date will hurt. But January probably will impact a decision based on last year's thread. Looked like many of the people who would have probably been accepted right away were waitlisted because of the lack of remaining spots.
 
Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone who was complete in July is still waiting for an II. I was complete late July, and I think theyrecieved my MCAT retake score early october. That may have been what they were waiting for before considering my application, but I'm not sure... if those of you still waiting for an II could maybe share your completion dates, that would be great!

8/13... Called earlier this week and they more or less said "wait patiently"

7/11... sent an update with a new grade/research 10/9... still waiting :/

I personally would do it ASAP (less people accepted, potential to be able to pick any campus)....but that's just me.

Completed mid July and received an II on Tuesday (so don't lose hope if you haven't heard yet)! IS LizzyM 69! I will however be declining hopefully the interview goes to one of you well deserving folk!

Accepted today! Interviewed 10/18th. Complete 9/19. 1st choice by far. The deposit will be in by the end of the week. I will be choosing the Macomb campus.

Stats 504 MCAT (1 section <125) 3.6 non science and 3.5 science. Nursing Assistant 2+ years. Research with an award grant. Average to below average volunteer. In state

Also I just want to say if you get nervous in the interview or something doesn't go as plan just play it off. My suit pants literally ripped 5 minutes before, I had a 6 inch rip in the ass seem of my pants and held it together for an acceptance. You can do it!
 
App was completed end of august and haven't heard anything. Anyone in the same boat? Do I still have a chance?

Mine was complete the end of July... still nothing. I keep trying to remind myself that silence is not a no, but... it feels like a no :/

Any updates from canadian applicants? Interviewed or accepted with their stats?
Playing the waiting game, hoping to have a miracle and getting accepted first shot but realistically needing to redo MCAT.

Canadian here. Interviewed 10/18 and still waiting for a response (going on 4 weeks so not looking great :/).

Stats: 3.54/3.55 with a 509 MCAT .
 
When do you think they will update everyone on how many interview invites and acceptances have gone out?
 
Ugh I hope this isn't a poor sign.
