Midwestern-Illinois Class of 2027 Interview/Acceptance Thread

would now be a good time to send a letter of interest since I have yet to receive an interview? if not, when would it be a good time?

I would wait until the December 15th deadline for acceptance. Wait until then and then send one if you so choose. But be brief with it, no more than 4-5 sentences. However, a letter of interest will most likely not affect your application but if you feel like it would help you then it's an option. There are threads you can find with more information here from verified experts: Confidential Expert Advice

Following the interview did anyone send a thank you email? is this recommended? If you did, where did you send it to?

I sent one a week after my interview. Very brief and I gave an special thanks to my two interviewers. I couldn’t find both of their emails and since there were many ppl involved in my interview day, i just decided to send it to the general admissions email.

Hello everyone, I just received an interview invite and I was wondering is virtual or in-person a better option? I have an infant baby and was thinking virtual for convenience but I also think in-person is a better option.

It really shouldn't affect your application for what mode of interview you pick. I would go with the cheapest and most convenient option.

Thank you for your opinion, they did mention that on the email but I was a bit hesitant with the virtual option.

I saw what you said earlier, I hope that you get accepted into Touro and the other schools you interviewed at. I decided to do it in person since it will be a 5 hour drive from me. Thank you for your input 🙂

Ahhh thanks, I posted it and then realized that I misread your reply so I didn't want to stress you out! Congrats on the interview, wishing you the best of luck!

Those of you that interviewed in person at midwestern, did the day actually last until 4pm? also did you get an email the day before telling you where to go?

1 more day 🥹
1? Are you referring to it as 1 because they could send out at midnight tomorrow night?

They had said during the interview that they would be sending out acceptances during business hours on 12/15 so I don't think they're doing anything at midnight. 2 more days but still exciting! Good luck and I hope you get the answers you're hoping for!
