I'd be completely okay with CCOM handing out II's early, especially if I got one! 😉

Interview invite! This is probably one of my top DO choices so I'm super excited! My mom's a travel agent so I have her finding the best flight deals for me before I pick a day.😛

I also submitted a 3 pager and have not sweated it. If you feel the info is pertanant to you, the applicant than send it as is. All this MUST be buisness is neurosis personified. Relax and enjoy the ride....
 
Complete July 28th. Stats: 3.95cGPA, 3.8sGPA and 28 MCAT. I live in Illinois too, if that makes any difference.

I was complete 7/1/12. c/sGPA 4.0, MCAT 28 (9, 9, 10). Good luck everybody!

Just got the interview invite. Primary applied end of June. Secondary invited on July 18th. Submitted the secondary I think two weeks ago and my app was complete 8/1.

II here too. I feel grateful because my MCAT is 2 points lower than their ave. 26/3.88 but unique EC's so maybe that's why complete jul 17

wow! amazing stats. I don't know if its just because i am applying this year, but it seems like this cycle there are a lot more people with incredible stats. Based on what I have read in previous cycle's thread, people with such stats normally apply later in the cycle. makes me a bit worried to be honest.🙁

Thanks! I applied to both LECOMs (got an interview invite for Bradenton but I'm delaying it until October), PCOM, Nova, and WVSOM for DO and early decision to WVU for MD.

Thanks! I wouldn't worry about it, DO stats have risen lately but not that much. SDN doesn't represent much of the actually applying population.

haha I love how this school asks us why we believe it will provide the type of education we seek, then it proceeds to send us an email about why we should choose this school. I am tempted to just to write about the claims the email makes haha jk. Anyways, I really want to go to this school, good luck everyone!
 
Would you guys who have had II's mind sharing if you have a letter from a DO? I wish I had one, but the area I live has Zero DO's! 🙁 Thanks everyone.

I had no idea II went out today. Congrats everyone!

Submitted secondary 6/30, complete 7/10. 3.25/3.22/33, no II.
 
II yesterday morning. I was complete 7/26. 3.6 gpa, 32 (12 ps, 9 vr, 11 bs). I had a LOR from a DO and I'm OOS
 
I got a II yesterday. In-state, no DO letter (but I did have an MD, so maybe they like to see a letter from some Doc).
 
The selection process for II's seemed to be completely random from my experiences and for a couple in my class this year. Some people have quick turn around while others with a relatively same application had a longer turnaround..last year I was complete in early September and didn't get an invite until mid January. Some people were complete in early July and didn't get interviewed until April. So just hang in there. The wait sucks but what can ya do? Besides updates of course.
