There is no secondary, just the questions you do on the primary. I submitted 6/27 actually, but got the portal access on 7/12

did anyone upload their personal statement, resume/cv, or unofficial transcripts in the portal? I just noticed they have an upload function with those options so a bit confused.

Appreciate you jumping on here to answer some questions.

Do a lot of students actually move for their rotations because they're far away?
It's not "a lot" IMO but yes about 25-30% of the class moves. Tbf, almost everyone that moved wanted that region. It's not a bunch of people being sent OOS against their will.
Usually the most salty people are the ones who got Tucson, about 2 hours south of Phoenix.
Most of the class below mine was actually mad to NOT get assigned Chicago. There's always people trying to trade *for* LA or San Diego too.

I think there's about 150 seats for Phoenix, so 60% of the class stays there.
Tucson last year became half of the rotations in Phoenix as well, so students were given the option to live in Phoenix & just do the student housing in months they are in Tucson.

Hey guys! I interviewed last week and when I logged into the portal today, I’m seeing sign up slots for accepted student visit day. My status still says “awaiting decision”. Does that mean anything?

waitlisted today. What are my chances of getting an interview?

It was from 7:30am to about 2pm Arizona time. Most of it was either presentations or just down time. The actual interview was 20 minutes.
do you think after the actual interview i can turn my camera off or is that an automatic reject...i have a major scheduling conflict and did not realize until right now 🙁

The schedule that they give you has a lot of down time where you essentially have about 4 hours of no-camera time (you don't even have to be logged on). The first hour or so is the dean, and then they give you your interview session time that you show up for and then a Q&A and video at the end at about 1. The time with the Dean and the Q&A at the end I would definitely have your camera on for. Hope that helps

The actual interview you have to have your camera on. I cannot think of something more important than your medical school interview, I would definitely prioritize, or reschedule.

OOS Fast-Track II today 😊 email said they'd contact me tomorrow to schedule a 20 minute teams interview for next week

I got my application "program has put your application on the waitlist, pending a potential invitation for an interview." anyone have experience with this and if so how fast did it take to get off interview waitlist.... also worth sending in letter of intent or nah?

OOS II tmrw morning, recieved invite on 9/24. application receieved according to them on 7/12. submitted AACOMAS first week of June

is the non-fast track interview just a traditional 1-1 for 20 minutes on zoom? Also do they mention if it's open or closed file?

There are 2 interviewers and I believe it is for 30 minutes? But it's been a few years now for me, so don't quote me on the length. It is partially open in that they can see your personal statement. But not your scores or GPA or anything like that.

I received an II hold back in August. I was wondering if anyone else who received a hold has received an interview invite yet. Or do they usually wait until later in the cycle to look at people of the II WL? Thanks

Anyone else get an email about background check acknowledgment? Login requires a PIN, but they didn’t include one
